oh hi Sassycandy! Haven't seen you in my askbox in a while! Good to see you again.

hmmmmm for Soundwave and Hot Rod, that is a bit of a tricky one I admit. But I do believe that Tangled, like straight up the disney movie, would make for a fun AU of them, obviously with Hot Rod as Optimus' son (and maybe also Megatron's but this whole scenario would also work perfectly fine with Oplita as Hot Rod's parents.)

I'd probably change a few things however, like that Bumblebee would be Megop/Oplita's other son who was born a few years after Hot Rod and could always tell that there was a hole in his parent's heart in the shape of the brother he never got to meet.

So Bee, after catching the thief Soundwave trying to steal from the royal treasure, secretly hires (blackmails) the outlaw to find his missing brother.

Soundwave agrees but on his quest finds a weird tower with an equally weird occupant. So now Soundwave's quest is rudely interrupted by Hot Rod begging him to take him with him to see the lanterns in the sky.
