Caitlin taking care of you while you're sick?
When you're sick, Caitlin treats you like an absolute princess (as if she doesn't normally.) She sees one cough and suddenly you're not allowed to get out of bed and a fresh box of tissues, soup, tea and any snack you've ever wanted is next to your bed.
Caitlin will cancel any plans she had, instead letting you lean on her chest and running a hand through your hair. She doesn't even care if she gets sick as well, all she cares about is making sure her girl is okay.
Sometimes she'll pour a bath, giving you gentle forehead kisses as you lean into her. The water's the perfect temperature, she'll even add a special bath balm in if she's feeling exiting.
Other times the two of you will just lie on the couch together, watching some cheesy rom-com you begged her for. She'll always end up crying at the end, no matter the night.
Eventually, sleep always sneaks up on you. Your eyes start to close, head still leaning on her chest, and Caitlin stays perfectly still, afraid that even the smallest movement might wake you. She presses one last kiss into your hair, whispering something quiet and affectionate that you never quite hear.
When you wake later, throat less sore and head clearer, she’s still there. Head lolled sideways in an awkward position, an arm still draped around your body. Because to Caitlin, taking care of you isn’t a chore, it’s instinct. And being sick is just another excuse to prove it.
