Lol if you point it out, they claim THEY’RE NOT MISOGYNIST THEY’RE SO FEMINIST, LOOK AT HOW THEY LOVE KATE (or whatever other fave lady, this goes for other fandoms too, really), WE DON’T HATE THOSE WOMEN. 

But they only ascribe personhood to women they deem worthy, it’s ok to shit on women like Vanessa and Sonja bc they’re plot devices or bad characters. Who cares about them???

I liked him a lot! I guess I live to be contrarian xD

my fave was Grace and I was definitely rooting for her to fork the entire family up lol, but I thought Alex's story was pretty interesting, especially in regards to how the family’s cult affected him* and his downward spiral in the movie. not to mention his relationship with Grace, which I think it’s severely underrated *shrugs*

it’s funny because I think a few years ago I would’ve had at best mixed feelings about him; his flaws and shortcomings hit a little too close to home and I would’ve found that uncomfortable. now they make me find him... sympathetic, I guess. even at the same time I was cheering for Grace to end him xD

*I GUESS in that sense Daniel is interesting too, but if I’m honest I care more about him in conjuction with Alex (they give me SO MANY FEELS *sniffs*), or even the Alex-Grace-Daniel pseudo-triangle, than by himself. so yeah, Alex was my favourite brother, even if I can see why fandom disagrees xDD

⟶ Enemies to lovers definitely, but best friends to lovers can be good too depending on how it's written.

⟶ There's only one bed, especially when paired with the enemies to lovers trope, or reluctant allies to lovers. Always a good time.

⟶ Amnesia stresses me the fuck out half the time so, hurt/comfort, definitely.

⟶ Most of my fandoms are modern anyway, so fantasy AU.

⟶ As Heather said, mutual pining that leads to domestic bliss is magic.

⟶ Depends on my mood. Sometimes I need some nice cavity-inducing fluff, and sometimes I just need the characters to fuck each other senseless, so I pick both.

⟶ I prefer fix-it fic, but I think depending on how it's used, canon compliant scenes can be amazing.

⟶ Both.

one-shot or multi-chapter

⟶ I usually read one-shots, and don't even think of starting a multi-chapter unless I see that it's done.

kid fic or roadtrip fic

⟶ Roadtrip fic, but I'm open to kid fic depending on the characters being used.

reincarnation or character death

⟶ Reincarnation. I don't read character death fic unless I'm in a really self-loathing mood, and even then, the ones I usually read don't have that particular vibe I'm looking for.

arranged marriage or accidental marriage

⟶ I like both, I also like marrying for mutually ulterior motives between characters who are having a slow build from enemies to lovers. Good shit.

high school romance or middle aged romance

⟶ I don't discriminate against age, so, both.

time travel or isolated together

⟶ I can never get into time travel stories half the time, so isolated together, definitely.

⟶ Neighbors.

⟶ I'm open to both, it just depends on the AU aspects.

⟶ Genderswap I'm hit or miss with, and bodyswap I only like in very specific scenarios.

How I feel about this character: I miss her too :(((

All the people I ship romantically with this character: uhhh... basically everyone?? Paloma, Carlos, Richie, Seth, Manola, Freddie, Venganza... I even have a crossover ship for her lmao.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Scott. THE PARALLELS. What a waste of potential.

My unpopular opinion about this character: she seems to have received a lot of hate (I’m so glad I wasn’t in this fandom while the show was running lol), so... yeah.
