(dont comment on her weight we adopted her a couple days ago and haven't fed her yet but we are planning to tomorrow)

"Rook" Lucanis said, voice warning as he was guided with his eyes covered. "I do NOT enjoy the element of surprise like this" he grumbled, his hands held out a little bit in front of him to keep himself from bumping into anything. It wasn't that he didn't trust Rook- he would lay his life in their hands without question- but they did tend to get a little...distracted sometimes.

"Oh my gods" they groaned, pressing their lips to the back of his head. "Could you please, for just like- two seconds let me pretend we are normal people and not constantly on the lookout for killer darts?" they said before they stopped Lucanis, the pure gritty air coming off the other was almost intoxicating. "okay so I remember when you were talking to Taash about your snake you had before you were kidnapped and then got Spite put into you and then we got you out and all that yeah you were there you remember" Lucanis couldn't help the laugh that slipped at Rooks quick recap. He nodded back at their voice, smiling in amusement.

"Si" he said, wondering where the hell this was going.

"Welllll" they said, careful hands coming up to undo the knot on the blindfold at the back of his head. It took a few moments to adjust to the low lighting of the room and take in what was before him. A beautiful, large and lush glass case stood before him. It took up the whole of the wall it was clearly customer built to fit. "Oh he's hiding" Rook grumbled, going over to the glass and looking around "You know that saying if it was a snake it would have bit you? I have a feeling Ill be playing that game a lot with - ah! There he is! Isn't he pretty" they said, pointing to where a beautiful black snake was curled up in a little pool of water at the bottom of the cage. Its little head was poking out enough for it to breathe as he stared down the younger crow.

"Rook" Lucanis said again, this time a bit breathless as he stepped forward and knelt down beside them. "He's beautiful. But what-"

"Hes yours. Listen, you lost a LOT when you got tossed into that fucking prison and I just.... You deserve to get something back you know? I know its not YOUR snake you lost but its...something?" they offered, looking at the Talon, unsure.

Lucanis reached over and took Rook's hand, squeezing it tightly "thank you" he said, smiling warmly as he looked at the snake again. "now to think of a name."

"Oh oh oh Hisster Ed. Oh wait no! Hisstopher. WAIT! Hissy Pants- no no no how about-" Rook paused when Lucanis reached up and put his hand over their mouth, looking amused if not a bit pained.

I saw my dogs barking at something and the instant I saw the patterns on their scales I hurried them in so fast. Thankfully no one got hurt and the snakes left. Got video of them.
