Veggie tempura, ribs and rumps
Today was my 30th birthday (chose to celebrate with ribs!) I had a little moment to myself this morning as I realized that I was no longer in my 20's. FOOD JOURNEY : Ribs and Rumps
Dubai, United Arab Emirates- We initially planned to line up in Jollibee (Filipino Food Chain) to satisfy our cravings. But due to a long queue we decided to try the Australia's iconic steakhouse, Ribs & Rumps. And it didn’t disappoint us.
I tried their 500g Beef Tenderloin ands I was like owh, this huge. The proper balance of fats and lean meat was outstanding that simply melts in your mouth. Yumm.
Definitely, a must-try steak in town. :)

Delicious steak and great service, this place is situated at the end of the busiest strip in Parramatta on Church Street. Cooked to your perfection and combined with your choice of salad, chips, potatoes or ribs.

Ribs and Rumps - The Original
Ribs and Rumps have a few restaurants across Sydney, this burger comes from the North Ryde outlet. At first glance the burger looks good, good size and form with all the fillings on the inside where they belong. After the first bite, you get a generous hit of the smokey, sweet basting sauce that covers the pattie. It is good.
The toppings of the burger, red onion, lettuce, tomato and pickles add freshness and crunch. There’s also a hint of thousand island dressing on the burger which I personally think makes a great sauce for this style of burger.
My only negative would be that inspite of the basting and the sauce the pattie itself was a bit dry. The restaurant was pretty busy at the time and it was a scorcher of a day so I’m happy to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Overall a tasty burger that I’d be pleased to have again.
