Oblivion Remastered is out on Switch 2, other versions are getting a tech patch ⚡️ The port from Bethesda and Virtuos runs at 30 fps with 1080p docked and 900p handheld, using DLSS upscaling. But here's the kicker: motion controls map right Joy-Con 2 to melee and left to magic and stealth, with a mirrored layout for lefties. Also supports GameChat, touchscreen, and gyro aiming. The optimization improvements from the Switch 2 edition will also roll out to other platforms, more on the "extra patch" later. But X users are FUMING: the remaster is still in a rough state, even though it dropped back in April 2025. It's available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series (including Game Pass), but no Russian localization. Just WILD.

⚡️Oblivion Remastered just hit Nintendo Switch 2, complete with a launch trailer. Bethesda and Virtuos brought the classic to the hybrid in its full glory, with modern visuals and gameplay/quality-of-life upgrades. Physical edition is on a cartridge, not a download code, they even made a funny ad for it, taking a jab at Sony's disc-killers. Players loved the troll 😏 On Steam it's sitting at "mostly positive" 75%, but who cares?
