i finished moving all dive-able Pokémon to Bubbly Basin!
in process of doing this, the only mon i couldn’t find was my west coast Gastropod. i thought i might’ve accidentally broken its habitat while working on Bleak Beach or something, no pokemon knew where they were and i couldn’t teleport to them.
only to find the little jerk was selling stuff in the pokecenter 🤦🏻♂️
i forgot pokémon won’t know where a trader is if they’re trading for some reason
things i need in pokopia:
A better way to dig. in particular; digging out bigger portions out faster. Graveler is good for small, straightforward, sections. but digging out bigger chunks out (with accuracy, and especially downward) is a huge pain ass.
A separate “god mode” (or i guess “Arceus mode” in this case) where you can just build whatever without worrying about materials and whatnot. Obviously separate from your main file.
Being able to dismantle your own building constructions and build them somewhere else. in other words, being able to use the “dismantle” set on your own buildings.
i think that’s about it really, as far as mechanics go.
finally got all the Bubbly Basin Pokémon!
Primarina was the last hold out 😅
now comes the task that i’m dreading; getting all the customization outfits. Since they so kindly put more of them in the dream islands (because it was SO much fun the last time) 🥲
other than that, i just dug out a big deep sea trench. i’m gonna make a small town for the deep sea Pokémon there
but for now i think i should officially start focusing on Beast of Reincarnation. i started it the other night to get a feel for it, but now that most of Bubbly Basin is done, i can direct more of my focus on BoR
yknow gamefreak is so weird when it comes to the sizes of Pokémon that i always forget Dhelmise is actually huge 😅 i always expect it to be smaller

I got Phonie today visiting the Dream Island today! i wasn’t surprised at all they were the Dream Island legendary/mythical at all tbh considering Manaphy is part of the dlc 😅
what i’m really shocked is that there’s no fossil Pokémon at all. they literally had the pick of the litter of water-based fossil pokemon, and chose absolutely none of them??? why??? i want my fossils dammit 😭😅
overall i love the expansion, but tbf I’m a sucker for underwater exploration (especially if you don’t need to worry about breathing 😂)
if there are people who clear out the entire volcano in Rocky Ridges, then there has to be someone who’s draining Bubbly Basin. and i can’t wait to see it 😂
