Moving Makes Me Happy & Alive!
So today, after about 2 weeks, I got back working out and goddamn my body felt SO GOOD!!! It was a whole thing to work out these past weeks, with the master bedroom being under construction. I have to take accountability for the fact that even I didn't make any efforts for alternatives. But taking up responsibility for the next step, I worked out today. I felt all the blood in my body flowing in my back, shoulders, legs, and abdominal and it felt so good!
My reason for working out has always been that it makes my body and my emotional state feel so good. I ended up dancing to 'Tradition & Oath', my favorite track from Fruits Basket OST.
For me, I had to take a decision on the way I am gonna continue the workouts because I have been inconsistent. So here's to re-commitment
To go all in! To become Strong, Flexible, Lengthened, Poised and Active
To get back to other forms of cardio - walking, running, swimming and dancing
To do ANY form of workout each day - ranging from 40 min - 1 hour
And eventually move towards poses that make me extend the usual capacities of my body
These are my non-negotiables and I re-commit to them :)
