🌧️ Some nights refuse to become memories while you're living them.

They stay present for longer than they should, stretching themselves across the glass in tiny beads of rain, making every passing headlight softer than it really is. 🌃 The city keeps proving it can survive another storm without asking anyone's permission. I keep proving that I don't have to follow its pace.

There's a particular comfort in watching movement from somewhere still. Not hiding from it. Just borrowing a little distance.

The window does something kind. It blurs everything just enough that certainty disappears. Buildings stop being buildings. Traffic becomes ribbons of light. ✨ The rain edits the world with more restraint than people ever do.
