DOJ admits legal errors, drops subpoenas of New York Times journalists
A judge criticized the Justice Department for legal errors that ultimately led the agency to withdraw its subpoenas of two New York Times journalists who wrote a story about security concerns on President Trump’s Qatari-gifted Air Force One. CBS News’ Katrina Kaufman has the latest.

I arrived at the countryside. It was hot. But the rain had only just stopped. And the drops of water were clearly visible. On large green leaves. This is a lupine. A very cheerful and resilient flower. It blooms early. And then it resembles green leaves, mostly massive. You can clearly see the water drops on these leaves. There are lots of them.
Large green leaves. And in the sun, there are still large and noticeable drops of water on them. I found this interesting. It was already hot. And the sun was shining. I literally arrived at the countryside. And suddenly it looked like it had been raining. That's what the lupine says. Even though it was already hot outside. And dry. There are drops of water on the leaves.
Drops of water. Round, white, transparent drops of water. Against a beautiful green background. A surprising sight. They are well preserved. And in some places, the water is already spreading across the leaf, forming amazing patterns. The drops of water seem to have frozen, adding such transparent decorations to the flowers.
How beautiful the water looks on green leaves. A beautiful green world. And with water drops. A sight for the eyes. A sight for the electric eye of a camera. Such large drops. White and transparent. The water lets light pass through. And like a mirror. You see what's on the other side. Here's a green leaf reflected in the water drops. And the drops are such massive lumps. Like small pebbles.
Water drops—a cluster of water. And a little ball forms. Amazingly large drops. Water is an amazing thing. And the drops reflect light perfectly from afar. Such a white light. It's almost blinding. Or like a mirror—all you see is bright white light. And that's it. And nothing more.
There are so many water drops everywhere. It's an interesting pattern. There are small ones, too. The large drops attract the most attention. But if you look around, you see so many small ones too. A whole world. That you've noticed. Thanks to the raindrops. The leaves are like paths. And there are water drops on them.
Here and there, a drop of water has broken up. And it reminds a snake of a puddle on a leaf. A whole ocean for a small beetle. Or a large puddle for a regular beetle. Water is a massive, dense sphere. And here and there, a ball or oval on the edge of a leaf. It can fall down from there. This is a huge source of water for small creatures.
And everything around is green. The leaf can also drink some water. Also useful. To refresh itself. Such a good thing. The large green leaves of the lupine are the perfect place for droplets of water. They are wide. And large. And they cover a lot of space around them. A multi-layered plant. Growing high.
Beautiful green leaves. With droplets of water. Something summery and new. I got to see such an interesting world. Lots of lupine leaves. I have a lot of them growing. Lupine is huge. I planted it literally last year. And this year it has grown. It has already bloomed. And now there are just large green leaves. Such beautiful green leaves. With droplets of water – it’s very beautiful and bright. Reflects the light. A pleasant green color.
