happy 21st! ── does anyone still use cassette tapes? sloane isn't sure, but she knows that 1 in 10 people has bought a cassette tape in the past month. so she got one and made a mixtape of songs that reminded her of celine, mixed with a few audios of sloane just talking into the audio recorder, telliing her a few fun facts and stories.

happy 18th, blondie :) ── they weren't officially together yet when sloane turned 18, but celine still decided to make something small for her. she went for a pottery session and made sloane a cute little jewellery dish. (design in photo does not necessarily reflect the design celine painted.)

happy 19th, blondie :) ── now that they were officially together, celine wanted to do something better than before. this meant a custom made jigsaw puzzle, where celine painstakingly planned out a painting of sloane, depicted as a sweet angel, and made it into a jigsaw puzzle.

Q: was it emotional finishing this book becuz it's the last book in the saga? A: it was very emotional and emotional in a few different ways. 1. spent years planning everything and attached to her characters. 2. really really hard book to write cuz there's 4 pov characters

A: toss-up between everyone but jameson. for a variety of reasons. 1. his motivation and goal is clear cut but the rest have an emotional focus too. wanted put more focus on gigi becuz shes used to being a secondary character in her life. had to keep rohan "rohan" while also balancing the emotional arc which was a long time coming. lyra's romantic relationship and making sure every scene she wrote with them felt the way she wanted it to feel.

Q: how would you describe writing odette morales? A: she loved writing odette. um she loves writing her oldest gen characters (JUDD MENTIONED)

Q: will we get to meet lyra's family in this book? A: yes we will

Q: will we get to see mile's end? A: yes we will. we will get to see how it plays a role in her emotional arc and her arc with grayson (whose name jlb will not mention AHAHAHAHHA)

Q: will we get to see development? A: yes she won't write any povs without giving the characters some sort of development

A: the characters who are the least like her is jameson and toby hawthorne. listed grayson lyra and avery as characters who she has traits she relates with the most, but when she writes characters she tries to find the trait she relates to the most with all of them

Q: will we get more information about mattias slater? A: yes we will get to know more info about mattias slater. you will find out one thing slate taught eve and one thing eve taught slate

Q: how many chapters is the book going to be? A: she don't remember LMFAOOOO but there are many many many chapters in the book and by far the longest book in the saga. twice as long as the first naturals book

Q: will we be seeing libnash? A: yes and she enjoyed writing them in this book cuz of da babies. enjoyed getting to see libby in that phase of her life

Q: is there anything you (jlb) can tell us about the tv adaptation? A: no. only through official channels after a very long time

Q: will we see thea and rebecca in the book? A: yes. she wanted to bring everyone back and missed the characters that we all know and love. did her best to include a full circle moment

Q: who is her favourite pov in this book? A: a really hard question for her to answer. get the most joy out of writing gigi's pov. (sloane mentioned hello) arc wise: rohan's arc across the three books has been her favourite arc to write (jumping for joy rn btw)
