Short and sweet, happy week all 

The older you get the more you see that your parents are quite wise and they have good sayings. My recent, favourite one came from my Mom:

“Somethings your honesty boarders on stupidity” 

A bit of a hardy (hahah) but it would be a different take on the whole ‘what advice would you give your PAST self?’

Because people say learn from history so you don’t repeat it but memory tends to fade the older you get therefore, you may need a reminder of what you forgot?

Or maybe it’s just a stupid question?

More importantly a good movies with a good character, usually a strong lead. Characters make movies, obviously, I mean you could have a bad movies with a good lead (I think...can’t think of any now). But because movies are still a relatively new medium they tend to borrow a lot from other sources, which is great, I mean why not learn from the best? 

But...

I was wondering for sometimes (even asked around)

as in ones that were not inspired from other sources eg video games (therefore Lara Croft), books, plays, comic books (so no Wonder Woman) and real life events.

I managed to think of “Star Wars”

Princess Leia (RIP Carrie Fisher, thank you)

Rey (new but I think I heard good things)

And a friend pointed out Ripley from “Aliens” 

(makes sense)
