They start talking, Tommy wanting some updates on Buck but not being able to close the gap to call him; Chimney confessing that he feels so distant from his amazing wife that they may as well be on different continents

Tommy isn't about to let Chimney drive himself while under the influence, so he has Chim in his truck. When Tommy is about to start the car, Chimney asks, "did you ever like me? Not in the friend way. In the more than friends way."

Tommy smiles and shrugs. "You saved my life." It's not an answer but it isn't not an answer

Chimney asks, "what if we'd got together instead? Before Maddie or Buck even got here. Leave them to be amazing, with amazing people."

"then you won't have your kids" Tommy points out. "Because I sure can't give birth"

Chimney laughs, then kisses Tommy, who thankfully still has the truck in park because his foot very nearly slammed on the acceleration

Chimney comes on to Tommy, practically climbing onto him, and suggests giving it a go anyway

He isn't nearly drunk enough to play that off as a joke

Tommy declines and sends Chimney home

At the door, Tommy suggests that Chimney open up to his wife, and that he'll forget the thing happened

"I will do many things for you, Howie, but I am not gonna be the scapegoat for you wanting to destroy the best thing in your life"

Chimney scoffs, and says, "if you will do many things for me, then for the love of your stupid big head, take your own advice and don't destroy the best thing in your life, he still wants you"
