I guess it's easier to show the whole shelf.
And some things that are not on the shelf or given to someone..:

The most iconic mustelids of China.
Mustelids are my favorite family of carnivores, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to show how diverse they can be. The species depicted are, in order, Asian badger (Meles leucurus), northern hog badger (Arctonyx albogularis), yellow-throated marten (Martes flavigula), Asian small-clawed otter (Aonyx cinereus), steppe polecat (Mustela eversmanii), and Chinese ferret-badger (Melogale moschata).
The marten and the otter are elderly individuals raised in captivity and have severe dental problems (the photo shows only the otter's better side). The others are all wild.

In the midst of like three bone projects so I’ll post them together.
Repaired a broken Bee eater skeleton (legs, tail, neck) and built a much more pretty mount than the plastic moss it was on.
Repairing a broken lizard skeleton that was going to be thrown out, not finished yet but it’s much improved.
In the final stages of degreasing a cow skull that my relative brought me. Defleshing was nasty. I need to glue some teeth back in still.
About the boar jaw I found when I was out hiking with a friend:
I wasn't sure whether I could salvage this one; It'd definitely been on the forest floor for a few years. A bunch of big ants turned it into a makeshift nest. I bet it saw its fair share of floods and had all manner of microbes making their life on it.
But look!
I can't believe it whitened this much, I was sure the clay and lichen had stained it. Even though it's crumbling a little bit at the front near the incisors, I'm super happy with how it cleaned up :)
