Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β (Y/N) walked along the sidewalk of the Pride Ring, rolling their eyes at the people standing in front of TVs. They were literally hypnotized, and no matter how much time they stood there and let their energy be sucked away for Voxβs profit, they always ended up back at the screens. (Y/N) was glad their phone was minimally accessible by the modern media Vox used to control peopleβa measure of security Vaggie pushed for, and Charlie, despite seeing the good in everyone, agreed with her on that point. So, (Y/N) kept their eyes away from the TV, remembering the people stuck there as a warning.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Of course, (Y/N) wouldnβt really be tempted either way. They felt soβ¦gross when they looked at the screens. They had glanced occasionally before they learned what Voxβs screens did, and it always left them with a headache. Once or twice, they felt wilted. (Y/N) didnβt enjoy it, so kept their eyes away from the cold light.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β (Y/N) lifted their head once they were away from the screens, checked the list theyβd written down, and turned into a supermarket. Normally, theyβd do their shopping in Cannibal Townβit was safer, and the fruit was as fresh as could be in Hell (until (Y/N) learned how to grow fruit, that was). However, Cannibal Town didnβt exactly sell the right type of meat for the Hazbin Hotel. Therefore, (Y/N) was running errands.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β They wandered through the aisles, grabbing the weird, hellish versions of chicken, beef, and pork. (Y/N) tossed it in a basket and went to pay. They saw some sinners staring at them, but (Y/N) focused on their errands instead of reacting. After their fight against Adam and his later death had been televised, (Y/N) had gotten plenty of stares. Some were afraid, some were in disbelief, some were in awe, and still others were condescending, unable to comprehend that a new sinner could be that strong.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β (Y/N) didnβt care. Theyβd been helping their friendsβtheir family. So of course theyβd fought as hard as they could. And Adam was the sort of βrighteousβ person that deserved to feel the consequences of his actions.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β (Y/N) bought the foodβat a discount of fear, they suspectedβand headed to the door. As they headed towards it, two demonsβVictorian, at least, by the outfitsβbegan to whisper.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βI canβt believe how far society has degenerated,β said the woman in disgust. βLook at that dress! Itβs so short.β What that meant was that it didnβt cover (Y/N)βs ankles, which was a horrendous sight to the woman. It wasnβt short by any means. βRevolting, honestly.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βItβs no wonder there are more sinners than ever,β said the man. βPeople look like they live in sin before they even make it here.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Whisper was perhaps an understatement. The words were clear and carried. (Y/N) slowed, knowing who they were talking away as people glanced at them warily.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βAnd so many claim theyβre not men or women? Or thatΒ beingΒ with men when theyβre men wasnβt the sin that brought them here?β The woman scoffed.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βUtterly ridiculous,β said the man. βWe may have stole, but at least our lifestyles werenβt sins.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β (Y/N) spun on their hell and looked at the man and woman. The cashiers in the store and everyone who recognized them froze. The man and woman were blissfully unaware, so they just smirked at the smaller demonβthey had the advantage of being tall, insect-like demons.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βDo you think youβre better than some sinners? Youβre in Hell, just like the rest of us,β said (Y/N). βSo who cares whoβs with who or how they dress? The only one who cares are archaic demons like you who couldnβt hack it in life and canβt hack it here.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βExcuse me, young lady!β said the woman. βWe were respectedββ
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βNot a lady,β said (Y/N), and their eyes narrowed. A small flowerbox outside began to grow at a rapid rate. βAnd obviously not. If you were this-thisΒ judgmentalΒ when youβre as βbadβ as you think we are, then no one respected you. And no one respects you now.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β They had and still struggled with bad thoughts about themself, their identity. They knew murder had brought them to Hell, but their identityβ¦their parents had always forced them into a box (Y/N) couldnβt fit into. They had the exact thoughts of these people.Β They handled it with more force against (Y/N).Β But (Y/N) was getting better. They werenβtβtheyΒ werenβt the sin. Their existence wasnβt wrong.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βWe barely stole. We didnβt live and wallow in sin as if it was something to be proud of,β said the man. βItβs a sickness, and if the Princess really wanted to save sinners, sheβd get people like you, young man, out of that life of sin.β He stared at (Y/N)βs outfit. βLike getting men out of dresses for a start.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βNot a man,β said (Y/N). Another warning, and the people in the store were backing away.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βYouβre one ofΒ those?β said the woman.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βAnd they thinkΒ youΒ can be saved?β The man looked at them like they were something rotten, and (Y/N)βs stomach turned over as they saw the looks in their mother and fatherβs eyes in this manβs. βThe only way that could happen is if they beat the ugly queerness out of you.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β (Y/N)βs throat constricted, and the phantom sensation of scars opening up on their back ran hot as the rest of their skin turned ice cold. The entire room turned dark, and sinners fled as they saw plants blotting out the windows and the sun.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βBeat me?β (Y/N)βs voice was low, hoarse as they spoke through the lack of airflow pressing down on their lungs. βBeatΒ me? Youβ¦YouΒ monsters. The reason youβre in Hell isnβt that you stole. Itβs that you treat other people as things.β So many people here still did. Adam had done that to sinners. Valentino and his fucking contracts. Vox sucking people dry of energy. This was the real rot in Hell, theΒ realestΒ sinners. βIΒ despiseΒ people like you.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β A shower of glass punctuated their words, and vines shot through the window. They grabbed the man and woman, and they cried out as thorns torn through their skin. (Y/N) flicked a wrist, and the vines dragged them out of the store, screaming and kicking. They dragged them down into the flower bed of dirt until only their heads were exposed, like demented flowers.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β (Y/N) glared. βIβd kill you, but I canβt be bothered.β They stepped carefully over broken glass and stared down at the heads. βIn the future,Β shut up. Your mouth got you into this problem, and if you keep running it, I will personally remove it.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β They glanced back at the store where people were fearfully peeking out. (Y/N) pulled out some more money and tossed it back into the store. βFor your window.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β They walked away, feeling the gaze of people on their back. They swallowed. They knew it was fear. But was that what (Y/N) wanted? They had justβThey had rememberedβThey couldnβt stand there and take it anymore. (Y/N) had lost it. It happened sometimes. More these days.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β But (Y/N) wasnβt ashamed of who they were. They couldnβt just stand there and let themself be shamed for something that wasnβt shameful. (Y/N) was who they were. No one could change that.
l
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βThanks for doing the shopping,β said Charlie, putting the food away.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βNo problem,β said (Y/N), sitting down. βHad to deal with some bigoted sinners.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Vaggie frowned. βWhat?β If (Y/N) had gotten bothered, she wasnβt letting them go out alone.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βThey just made some comments about queer peopleβs βlifestyles,β β said (Y/N).
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βUgh,β said Angel Dust. βThose types are the worst.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βDragged them into dirt.β (Y/N) waved their hand in the same motion. βTaught them a lesson.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β β(Y/N), violence isnβt the answer,β said Charlie worriedly.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βI didnβt kill them. And their heads are sticking out,β said (Y/N). βBut they were sayingββΒ beat the queerness outΒ ββI couldnβt stand there and do nothing.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βWell, I think our sprout did the right thing!β said Alastor, appearing out of nowhere. βThey exercised refrain but also didnβt roll over like a coward!β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βBeing kind isnβt being a coward,β argued Charlie.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βListen, Charlie,β said (Y/N). βIβm sorry. Really. But some of what they were sayingβthe idea that you shouldΒ beat the queernessββ they forced the words from their throat ββout of usβI couldnβt justβ¦β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Husk and Angel exchanged glances. (Y/N) never completely explained their situation in life. They knew (Y/N) had killed their parents, but they knew no other details. They had their suspicions of abuse, though, by the church, by their parents, for their identity, for standards no one could meet. It angered both men, and if they had a chance, they both personally wanted to teach (Y/N)βs parents a lesson for what theyβd done to the innocent kid. They wouldnβt be in Hell if whatever had pushed them hadnβt happened. Husk and Angel didnβt doubt that their parents had been the catalyst. (Y/N)βs instincts didnβt lean towards harm unless their triggers appeared, and then it was fight or flight.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Charlie seemed to come to the same realization, and she calmed. βItβs okay. Justβ¦be careful. Youβre a good kid, (Y/N). I donβt want anything to happen to you.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βThanks,β said (Y/N).
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βWhere did this happen?β asked Alastor.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Everyone looked at him in surprise, and Angel and Husk exchanged glances.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βUm, Alastor? What are you going to do?β said Charlie warily, though she wasnβt sure she wanted to know. She had to stop further violence from Hazbin Hotel guests, though. (But Alastor wasnβt technically a guest, so he didnβt care).
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βI want to see their heads sticking up!β laughed Alastor. βSquirming and wriggling like worms.β He clearly found the entire thing entertaining.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Angel and Husk felt a little different. They still hadnβt figured out what Alastorβs around (Y/N) were, and it worried them. He had taught them to use their abilities, and (Y/N) had grown stronger because of it, but why did Alastor care? What game was he playing? It was doubtless that he had a game, an angle. Alastor couldnβt just care about the kid. Not this quickly, no way. Husk doubted Alastor was even capable of caring about another person without profiting from them. So what was he planning for (Y/N)?
l
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Alastor stood over the pathetic insectsβalmost literallyβin the dirt. They had managed to get their torsoβs partly out of the earth, caked in mud. The sinners had all left the street as the Radio Demon approached, and now he and his prey were the only people left.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βMy, my,β said Alastor, his large smile not leaving his face. βTwo plants trying to escape.β
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β The sinners paled as they looked at Alastor. They recognized him.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β βWe canβt have that, can we? You were freshly planted,β said Alastor.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Shadows rose into the air, and screams filled the street a moment later. Come morning, the flower bed would have arms, legs, and heads sticking out of the ground, blood drying on the stumps of their limbs.

Here's Raymond and Gregory. They're my comfort ship. I love their healthy relationship. White one is Raymond and gray one is Gregory. Don't mind the old crappy animation. I'll be posting my old animations and doodles to make this blog survive :'D
She is the captain of the local breakdancing team, her favorite drink is orange soda, has seen the movie 'Mean Girls' up to 15 times by now, has way too many beanie bags in her room and acts like the older sister in her friend group.
Happy Pride Month, y'all! π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈβ¨οΈ
