Not exactly, but I do remember getting really invested in Wille's character during his conversation with Erik in his Hillerska room.

Having what I assumed (based solely on the synopsis) would be an arrogant prince (whose storyline I thought was going to be about 'accepting' lower class people) talk about how he doesn't really like the royal lifestyle made me very interested in him.

Like almost everyone in this fandom, it would be season 1.

I feel like I should say that I actually don't dislike seasons 2 and 3 (though I do have some minor and not-so-minor grievances with a few storylines happening throughout), but in my mind the mood of s1 is unmatched.

The last thing I wrote

(not exactly, but the actual last thing I 'wrote' is being re-written every time I lay my eyes on it, so consider this the last thing I wrote which has a chance to actually end up in the chapter)

Simon re-reads the texts, over and over, trying to make sense of the words while feeling himself being submerged by a weird mix of emotions. It was August? This is way too surprising considering how much of an asshole this wannabe king of school is. Another thing that is surprising (although, there again, it shouldn’t be) is that they all knew this whole time. Wilhelm knew. Felice knew. The Queen, and therefore the people who discovered it for her (as well as, probably, members of the court and fucking SÄPO) knew. And all of them chose to hide it from him (‘to protect him’, how fucking kind of them). Simon is boiling. The audacity of Wilhelm, to dare tell him he loves him after confessing to, yet again, lying to his face for weeks about something so critical. Determined to rip the Crown Prince to shreds, he presses the ‘call’ button.

Finally, finally, here is chapter 7 of CBD!!!

It took me an eternity, for a chapter not special in any way, but it's finally done.
