Life has mini versions of himself he asks for advice or uses in the choruses of his songs or just hangs out with, but barely anyone can see them in the story, so he’s left looking like a crazy man talking to himself (which could perfectly happen, tbh, he’s drunk all the time)

the second protagonist in my world. he belongs to a family famously known for being the greatest warriors and army leaders on their continent - yeyira. zareb however isn't interested in his family's form of work, fleeing during one of their many battles.

It’s said she’s the descendant of the fertility god, and Odin looks out for her especially. Before people realize that she’s only going to kill the men and women that were the direct cause of her sacrifice, people but the Valknut symbol on their doors to ward her away.

Background: Much the same as Modern Brynhilda, this Brynhilda lost her entire family when she was ten. King Olaf killed them to get their land. She killed him, then joined Boggvir’s men. At first, he didn’t pay any attention to her, but when she saved his life, he takes her under his wing. For years, they fight side by side until he takes a lover.

           At the point of her betrayal, everyone but Boggvir is afraid of her strength. Worried of her influence over him, five of his most trusted Jarls convince him to Blood Eagle her. She manages to survive. For nearly two weeks she hangs from the alter, her life ebbing away after each day. Even when she manages to slip free of her binds, she’s buried alive.

           Through a series of fortunate events, she manages to make her way to Kattegat, where she becomes a slave to one Ivar Ragnarsson. The next few months are trying, but despite Ivar’s bad attitude, she falls for him.

           Brynhilda and Ivar have an unshakeable love for each other, and respect that runs deep. Unconquerable on the battlefield, they strike fear into their enemies’ hearts. There was a fear that they wouldn’t be good leaders, but surprisingly, they’re effective, very few dare challenge them, and those that do fall to blades quickly. Their people are happy under their rule.
