☀️ Little explanation ☀️

Because yes, it has more meaning than it seams but I don’t want to spoil too much. Life wants to help his sister Eki (The child of The Sun), but for his plans to work, he needs to be patient. For now, their fate is in the hands of Time (Death’s father).

What does this poem mean? When Life achieves his goal, when “the sun rises” (his sister) he won’t come back to Aspen. But for now, he can enjoy his time with him.

I had this little poem written in my notes for a long time and it’s what sparked me to make all the art of these two!

The Daughter of The Sun - Eki

Eki is Life’s younger sister (the stupid black cat), I like to call them the Sun Siblings. Yes, I know they might not look alike, but they’re very similar. I can’t really tell much more about Eki than what I’ve already said and what’s in the other post’s description. She’s very important to Life, who cares about her dearly. She goes through many changes throughout the story and will change forms many times. More like, she slowly evolves with time. I have another one of her forms designed and ready to post soon!

The Sun - Eguzki

“When the Sun, anguished by her loneliness in the dark, silent space, started crying, her tears fell into the continent and they created life. Each tear left a mark, filling the land with magic, and the desire to protect it.

This desire was so powerful that it transformed into its own entity, one whom would protect the lands and phenomena it was attached to. This entities got many names through the centuries to come, but most called them Spirits.

The Sun quickly fell in love with them and the mortals that came after, the borrowers of stardust. Plants, animals or elves, she didn’t care. They all captivated her, each creature taking a bit of her stardust to exist. But what is a second faced against eternity? What means a lifetime to the Sun?

Driven by the desire to walk among them, The Sun poured most of her power into the continent, and from it, Eki was born. Daughter of The Sun, sister of Life”

Queen Irar 🌙

Called by her people ‘The light of the Dead’ as she’s said to be a guidance for both her kingdom and those who pass away in it. Rumors say she possesses great magical powers, but no one alive has seen her using them. Instead, they know a benevolent queen who rules her kingdom with patience, beside her husband.

Life has mini versions of himself he asks for advice or uses in the choruses of his songs or just hangs out with, but barely anyone can see them in the story, so he’s left looking like a crazy man talking to himself (which could perfectly happen, tbh, he’s drunk all the time)

Slowly trying to get back to drawing with stupid memes ✨

Nata - Owlpaca 🍂

Owlpacas are a very popular form of transportation. They’re reliable, can lift huge weights and are very docile.

They’re found across the whole continent, even in wild herds, but the most famous ones are bred by the Birds in their main cities. The breed they rise is the most sturdy and big among owlpacas, known by their good demeanor and intelligence. The Royal Guards often use them as transportation and the Queen herself buys black fur ones from the Birds.

It was the birds who gifted Elowen a white owlpaca baby when they first visited the palace after centuries. They named her Nata, a very cuddly and friendly thing. Since then they have been inseparable and Elowen often uses her to cross the forest for official meetings.

Nata loves pets, treats (wild berries specially) and she always follows Aspen around to cuddle, she loves resting her chin on his head. She lives in the royal stables of bird city while Elowen is away and Aspen himself takes care of her every day.

Original species
