Couple of hours later....
"Ok so you're telling me a hot girl asked for your number, you gave it to her, and then you just let her walk away."
After the whole encounter Violet decided to go to one of her best friends house because she clearly needed to guidance on what to make of this situation. her and Crystal have been friends since their freshman year of college and met through the soccer team.
Violet fell from her sitting position to flop on Crystal's bed. "Oh my god y'know I don't know how to talk to women!" "And she was like drop dead gorgeous, smelt like a fresh candle store, and had the sweetest tone to her voice, you wouldn't know what to say either!" Violet glanced over to Crystal to see she was giving her an unimpressed look.
"How do you except to be with anyone if you don't put yourself out there." Violet giggled at that comment. "Easy for you to say you have a boyfriend." Crystal smiled back at her "Yea! And I'm doing great so maybe you should take some tips from me." The was a silent pause before she began talking again in a hushed tone "Maybe it'll get you out of your little depressive episode you got going on."
This caused Violet to shoot up so she could glance at Crystal more face to face. "Hey! I am not depressed." "Yea, sure, but whatever you've got going on since you graduated has definitely got you down in the dumps." "Look all I'm saying is maybe some romance would do some good you should text her, ask her to hangout!"
Violet contemplated the suggestion before speaking up again with a sigh, "As annoying as you are...Your advice doesn't sound bad.
And that's how Violet ended up 2 days later sitting in a coffee shop on an early afternoon waiting for Yvellise to arrive.

Before Violet could continue her thoughts, the women spoke up again. "I hope this seat isn't taken?'' The mystery women asked in a questioning tone while glancing to the open bench space beside Violet. "OH! um no you can sit here if you'd like." Violet didn't mean to sound surprised, but she actually was curious on why this random goddess of a women wanted to sit next to her.
Just as she was about to go back to her awkward public sulking session the women spoke up once again. "My name is Yvelisse what your name?" Once again, another question. Though Violet had never heard of such a name it did sound beautiful and as she looked back at the women she realized she was staring right at her and that she should probably respond before she makes things awkward. "I-Im Violet." Although she tried to, she couldn't deny she was a bit shy and confused on why this wom-, why Yvelisse wanted to talk to her. "Oh! what a lovely name I used to work with a women named Violeta your name is very similar! Your name makes me think of a flower field in the Spring." They were still face to face with each other, so Violet gave her a smile and a polite thank you as she took her words for a compliment. "Well Violet I can't lie, the reason I came over here is because it seems there is something to be bothering you." Yvelisse's smile slightly faded into a small frown before saying the next part. "And I don't like that sad look on your pretty face." Violets first thought was embarrassment did she really look that miserable that some random lady walking around the park had to say something about it. That is until she processed the last two words she said. My pretty face...? Violet felt heat quickly blooming over her cheeks and ears the proceeded to come up with a quick response, "OH no ma'am! I promise it's nothing just post college issues." Violet began moving her hands as to show dismissal of the topic before speaking again. "It was very kind of you to stop and sit by me though, but I can promise I'm not having issues that are worth you pausing your park walk!" Violet said quicky while letting out a light chuckle. Although she felt it was a lame response it seemed to satisfy Yvelisse. Who began to talk again in her calming voice "Well than Violet if you insist." After that Yvelisse slowly stood up from the bench. "Although you do seem like good company as wondering if you wanted to tr and have a proper conversation another time!" And as Yvelisse beamed at Violet with a bright smile Violets face became more heated. "Did this gorgeous woman just ask for her number?" "Y-you want my number??" Violet spoke out into the peaceful silence. "Well yes that would be ideal." And that's how Violet ended up with a number she was too shy to look at and a hopefulness sizzling inside her chest.
