Subworlds Stabilisation Techniques
With enough skill in concentration and imagination, one can create subworlds elaborate enough to become fully immersed in. Sometimes, these subworlds even become fully self-sufficient and evolve beyond their creator's original idea. Consider Christianity and/or Harry Potter, for instance. But I digress…
A couple of ways to stabilize a subworld in its early stages, when it depends solely on the input of one consciousness, are, first, to limit the Demiurge's avatar to certain abilities (and/or make it vulnerable to certain elements) and, second, to split the Demiurge's avatar into multiple parts, preferably with opposing qualities.
Both methods are essentially variations on a theme. The creator needs to step back and let the world develop on its own. Absolute power over creation, while tempting, often results in a progression of poorly connected illusions.
What does it tell me about creation mythology?
