Yoga is something I've always loved. Being able to practice in the comfort of my home is such a blessing. I don't have to worry about being judged, I don't have to worry if I need to take a breather, I don't need to focus on anything other than my body, my mind, and breathing. . . . While I mostly do my yoga at home, I can also do it in the park, at a gym, at the airport, at the beach, and anywhere I have access to my phone (yes, even in the forest --the workouts are downloadable!). ✨Progress comes in many different forms ✨ . . I did a Piyo workout today that was one of my FIRST workouts ever with a @beachbody program. This picture was about 2 weeks into doing the same workout over and over again specifically so I could master this move and workout. I remember being SO PROUD I was able to get to this level of flexibility in just a few weeks of truly loving myself. . . . Fast forward to today's photo. On the surface, it doesn't look much different. I am proud I've maintained a certain level of flexibility since doing this program, but that's not what stands out to me. It's that I was able to go through the ENTIRE workout fully and not take more than 1 ten-second break in the middle to child's pose (with some water 💦). I love seeing progress like this in my body. You don't have to be a size 2 or even a size 12 or 22 to do yoga and gain flexibility.
