Use this delicious dry seasoning rub made of brown sugar to elevate your smoked meats. The ideal fusion of smoky and sweet flavors that will leave your palate wanting more.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup paprika. 2 tablespoons kosher salt. 1 tablespoon black pepper. 1 tablespoon garlic powder. 1 tablespoon onion powder. 1 tablespoon smoked paprika. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
Instructions: Brown sugar, paprika, cayenne pepper, kosher salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika should all be combined in a bowl. To guarantee that the flavors are evenly distributed, thoroughly mix the ingredients. After using paper towels to pat the meat like chicken or pork ribs dry, liberally rub the mixture over the entire surface. Let the meat marinate for at least one to two hours, or overnight for a more flavorful marinade. Set the temperature of your smoker to 225F 107C. Once the marinated meat is in the smoker, cook it until the internal temperature reaches the desired level 165F or 74C for chicken, and 190203F or 8895C for pork ribs. For extra flavor, baste the meat with any leftover rub or juices while it's smoking. Before slicing and serving, allow the meat to rest for a few minutes after cooking.
