Locking up the shop a old man yelled "you've been shutting down for 3 yrs!!!" It’s seriously such a great show. Yeah, it goes back and forth tonally from its more goofy episodes to episodes like Haunted where Robin is suffering PTSD and gets the shit kicked out of him, but I think it’s obvious that the writers wanted to take the show seriously. They wanted us to laugh with the fun episodes, of course, but they clearly really wanted to delve into the more serious aspects of these characters, and that’s apparent with every season finale.
And yeah, those are some wild episodes. I haven’t gotten to Mother May Eye in my rewatch yet, but Mad Mod is pretty bizarre. I also just watched Fractured, a really weird one. But the weird episodes are some of the most fun.

@outrageousbirb I love these suggestions! I think your hypothetical essay is more interesting than the one I've written :P The thing is though, I'm trying to make every title a quote from a different episode, to show parallels and how the show works as a complete whole etc etc. The only one I've broken this rule for is The Harvest, and that's cos I hadn't fully decided on what I was doing then
