well, in all honesty, i don’t think any of our alters have ever ‘introduced’ themselves to us. sometimes i can sort of take a guess at who they may be an introject of (sometimes you just get .... vibes. it’s weird to explain ahaha). other than that, we basically find out when they front for the first time, haha (: and, oh, anon, faking is a conscious thing you have to do! if you’re worried that you’re faking, then you basically aren’t lol. feeling like you aren’t actually a system is a very normal and very common experience among the did/osdd community.

Day 8: When did you find out you were multiple, was it before, during or after diagnosis?

We found out we was multiple about 2 years ago in 2016 but had alters forming, makin friends and frontin since late 2014/2015? We only became aware of it a year later, right now we haven't seen anyone about getting a solid diagnosis and wouldn't know where to go about findin someone who could help in this area? An speakin to our doctor ain't had a good outcome the past 3 or 4 times we've been. So I guess we realised before we were diagnosed because we haven't been yet? We always worry people will assume we're faking because we haven't spoken to anyone or been diagnosed yet.... But thas another issue... 🦕

💫: How Often Do You Switch In A Day/Week?

It's hard to say tbh.

When we have stressfull time/day we switch few times per day.

When we are ''okay'' we don't switch that much. For example I was here few days ago for like 4-5 days.

I also noiced that we switched more in the past and for some reason I'm usually here.

Day 9: What level of co-consciousness do you have? How do you feel your communication skills are within the system? How do you want to grow in those skills?

I like to think we have a high level of co-consciousness, normally whoever is fronting is co-conscious with one or two other alters that then tell the funniest/good parts of the day to the rest of the system? Our communication skills are wholly good, we are aware and can discuss who wants to front and who doesn't at any given moment or point, and to a degree we are able to work out what is best for some alters? (For example, Axe had been having a really tough time wth his eating disorder so we as a group decided he shouldn't front for a while until he feels a bit more ok to?) I would like to grow these skills to a point that we can all communicate our needs and wants effectively as a whole system and be able to continue to support those of our alters that really need it...

Day 5 - How often do you switch? Do you lose time? Describe a bit about what disassociation is like for you?

We switch on average a couple of times a day? And I personally only lose time if the switch only lasts a few minutes but I know Ana loses time if someone switches when she had been fronting?

For me personally its got stages, first I might just zone out, then I get really cold and tingly and start shaking, then I might end up blacking out entirely? But specifically surrounding switching I get really cold and shivery, my ears ring really bad, and my vision stops working normally
