Savor the flavorful blend of crispy steak and zesty orange glaze on top of fluffy white rice. The flavors of this stir-fry are perfectly balanced between savory, spicy, and sweet.
Ingredients: 1 lb thinly sliced beef. 1/2 cup cornstarch. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup orange juice. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ginger, minced. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes. 2 cups cooked white rice. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 2 green onions, chopped. 1 orange, zest and juice.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine cornstarch and sliced beef. Toss until beef is coated. In another bowl, mix soy sauce, orange juice, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to create the sauce. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add beef slices and cook until crispy and browned. Remove from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add chopped green onions and orange zest. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes. Return the crispy beef to the skillet and pour the sauce over it. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef. Serve the crispy orange beef over cooked white rice and drizzle with fresh orange juice. Garnish with additional orange zest and green onions if desired.
