OTP’s for Infinite

Shadfinite - Its cute as fucking hell, wether in the context of my own lore or cannon lore (where shadow js beats him up and calls him weak) i can still see them working out and getting over that hurdle and being SO cute! They’d both share trauma of loosing their families and crashing the fuck out bc of it, and i can see shadow being a very patient and sweet partner to infy, they’d def be cuddly and snuggly types and i can see him not being annoyed or bothered by infinites clinginess and attachment. They take up a space in my brain and once i make an A03 account infinite is not fucking safe from him-

Infphiles - Listen ik its one of the more generic/common pairs for inf, but dude,they complete eachother. Two villains who got wiped off the face of the earth in cannon. They’d def meet an bond in the whitespace and i can see them relying on eachother, or atleast, inf heavily relying on mephiles. They’d be protective over eachother and i can see them being a powercouple like no other yet very cute behind closed doors. I can also see infinite helping mephiles escape the whitespace and return to reality, he’d even help him get a new body if his own cant exist in the timeline. (Aka, slaughter someone and offer the body as sacrifice and treating mephiles like the true god he is.) bonus points if its in the context of my own lore and infinite worships solaris, mephiles would be treated like the god he is and im sure he’d love it. (Bonus points x2 if its a poly between these two n shadow.)

Sonfinite - Adorable ‘hero nurtures the warcriminal back to health and fixes him or makes him worse’ trope, i can see sonic in the context of this ship covering for infinite and defending him, but also being sure to try and fix his evil ways and nurture his broken mind so he isnt enabling a war criminal but defending his actions where they require it. Sonic would also probably help infy alot with his trauma n issues n allat. Once he gets past the uh.. crankiness of the dawg.

Starfinite - js thouhgt of this. Oh my god its adorable in my mind, oh my god they’re just like eachother fr. Worked for eggman, presumed dead because of his failures, they’d bond and love eachother so much dude, imagine it, they’d be so sweet and careful and patient and fucking EEEEUCK (/aff) i wanna squish them-

nOTPS for inf

Infamy - (wow it really feels like im hating on her doesnt it, damn-) Idk, i just cant see it, sure shes sweet most of the time but infinite pushes her buttons and he’d be reminded of eggman because of how explosive she is, which her explosive anger isnt bad in normal context, its very comedic i love it, but in a relationship with a traumatized jackal? Eeeesh… :(

Okay. This is probably going to get me in trouble, but I have no interest in the idea of a Roy/Keeley/Jamie OT3.

I like Jamie as a character, but I think his growth right now works far better outside of a romantic pairing. And to be honest, I think the Roy/Keeley romance, so far at least, has been far too adult for him.

Not in a kink sense, but in the "how do these grown adults with careers and priorities of their own navigate a relationship with each other while addressing their own needs."

And maybe it's my age talking, but to me, Jamie is a kid. And he deserves time to be a kid.

My other issue is that every OT3 fic I've seen has been very Jamie-centric, which is fine, but I like a bit more reciprocity in my pairings. I see very little examination of what this dynamic means for Keeley, or especially Roy (who too often seems to be there just to be the stern hot dom - which yeah, I see the appeal, but the man's more than just an authoritative voice and a penis.)

I will forever curse the manga for even making the fandom think of this as a plausability. I honestly don’t understand what was going through Yoshid@ head when he thought this would be a good idea.

I don’t dislike it per se, there’s just not much about the dynamic that interests me but I could buy it if written well. Generally, I prefer fraught ships that have a lot of inherent conflict– high concept ship dynamics lol.

Fenris/Merrill

it doesn’t make me seethe with anger but it’s...not good. i understand the reasons why fenris has a problem with merrill but he definitely takes it too far. however, i also hate it when people paint fenris as someone who would hit or threaten merrill with vicious violence. its a shame that merrill embodies many things that frighten fenris because i think she genuinely tries to be kind to him sometimes

Solavellan

i didnt think much of it until i romanced solas with a f!lavellan myself. i found myself a bit emotional about the whole thing, especially in trespasser. my problem with solavellan is more with the fans than the ship itself. ill never understand the solas fans who agree with him like?? y’all realise he wants to kill everyone right??

people can do what they want its none of my business but imo i find most lavellans people pair with solas boring lol. my lavellan was pretty cold and calculating, always knew something was amiss. i cant stand the helpless betrayed damsel in distress trope
