Is the "rich auntie" really rich?

This is your resident curmudgeon telling you that you are fine not liking children. You should not ever be a parent or work with them, that’s a given. And obviously you shouldn’t be a shithead to real people, and if you see a bad situation you should try to do something about it. But you are fine.

It is not ableist, or ageist, or racist, or anything else- this is a false equivalence. Everyone was a child, and many preferred the company of adults even then. Also, equating any vulnerable group/protected class with children is infantilization, and generally regarded as bad by people who aren’t armchair activists.

Not being a fan of kids hurts no one, and you are not a bad person for wanting to cultivate a life that excludes them for any reason.
