Reminder that you're not owed anyone's time and thinking you take precedent over someone's real life job and harassing them about it won't make things better for you. They're better than me bc I woulda just banned you from the competition as a whole considering how rude YOU are being
You were not "just trying to get a question answered" if you sent the ask multiple times. And if you didn't they literally clarified that they were mistaken.
But if writing essays calling fandom volunteers rude is a good use of your time then go off ig
I stated in my post that I sent my question a single time. I can't see other people's asks, so I had no way of knowing the question had been sent multiple times. Because the question had not yet been answered.
I never said she should put the event over her job. I said she should consider how she responds to very understandable questions. All within the scope of my own experience running fandom events while ALSO having a job.
If you think it's rude to politely tell someone they are being rude and offering advice on how to avoid coming off that way in the future, that's a you problem. That is not a me problem.
Also, a single post with light criticism and a suggested fix is not harassment. It may make you uncomfortable. It may be something you don't like, but it's not harassment. In fact, it's possible you will increase the number of people who see and interact with the post you are mad about because you showed up to start shit. So, you are increasing the chance of actual harassment but accusing me of something I'm not doing. Great job.
Lastly, as the event coordinator, she does actually owe people her time in regards to running the event. That's how being in charge works.
But if you think getting on anon to pretend to be tough about my participation in an event you have no power in keeping me from participating in, go off ig.
