So everyone has their own theory on who will abstract next, and I’d like to throw my hat into the ring. The person I believe will abstract next…

…is Caine.

“But Nerd,” you may say, “Caine’s an AI; it’s not even stated if he can abstract! Why’re you saying Caine will be the next to abstract?”

I have a few reasons, actually. Spoilers ahead, but they’re pretty minor:

The MCs for both games would be absolute menaces if they were friends.

But also a total power house at the same time. Anyway that’s all I wanted to share.

Okay, since I still don't know how to use reddit and I just learned to use Tumblr, I'm going to talk about this theory here.

Is not a secret that the 4th season of Stranger Things has the typical vibes of a villain father and the superhero kid, mostly because of the inspiration that the Duffers took from Star Wars TESB. This is even a topic of study in Film History: the origins of a superhero. Even Hopper mentions that in order to grow up we must reject our father's ideologies or career or path so on so forth.

I've read the theory that was originally posted on reddit about El's being Vecna's daughter. It makes a lot of sense! But I've also read that Eddie could be 010, which honestly doesn't make a lot of sense but, BUT, it could be a strong theory if we look at it detailed:

The first mention that we got of Victor Creel in the 4th season, is made by Eddie Munson's uncle, with whom he lives with. Nancy is trying to find information about these events because she has a gut that is related to the Mind Flayer, besides she has way too much experience with the Upside Down, and highly doubts that Eddie had something to do with it. She is showed as a very interested person in what Munson's uncle has to say, and even more when he mentions Victor Creel as the murderer of a whole family.

Eddie Munson's uncle is a hundred percent sure his nephew didn't do it. Anyone who knows a family member very well would be like this. BUT, how come he is THE ONLY ONE to know about the Creel case, and the police don't even notice the similarities between the events? Let's say that's because of the years apart that each crime took place in, but why would Munson's uncle remember it as if it was yesterday? He explained to Nancy what happened to the Creel fam. What if somehow, the Munson's are related to them?

According to the theory that points out Eddie being 010, it says that maybe Eddie doesn't remember much because of the internalized trauma, so he does drugs in other to forget, and has done so much that he actually is lost in his track. It also says something about not showing Eddie's wrist when he takes off his watch, that stayed in 9:27 pm, time that Vecna killed Patrick and time that the Hawkins gang were inside Creel's family house. Now, it may have not shown Eddie's wrist because he was wearing a jacket full of chains in the part of the arms and wrists, especially wrists. What if Eddie ACTUALLY remembers being at the facility but he just wants to forget it at all costs, and that's why he put more chains at the part of the wrists so no one really can see his tattoo? Because I'm sure that if Nancy or any other saw it, they would have recognized it totally because of the similarity with El's tats.

The theory of Eleven being Vecna's daughter, as I said previously, is based on points that describe the origin of superheroes having villains as their fathers. Now, Stranger Things is a show that honestly, cliché doesn't go with them at all. I know that probably not every single viewer or human would know about the origin of superheroes on the Film History (for short classes I highly recommend to visit Crash Course - Film History, they explain this subject really deeper than anyone). To summarize that theory, Eleven rejects Vecna's point of view in humanity because is full of wicked actions that El is not a supporter of, and besides that, Vecna and her share similarities of being left aside because they are sensitive, weird, they got almost the same level of power (I mean it takes hella power to open a fucking gate and dissolve a human being onto ashes creating a monster). And this is where Eddie comes in: he's weird, he's the freak of high school left alone, he only have his uncle to lean on, he plays and rocks because there's no other thing to do, he is a dealer to make extra bucks and he tends to get high to forget, or at least, to stay calm. At some point, Chrissy asked him if he ever felt like going mad, and Eddie just answered "you know, on a daily basis" and then he focus her attention onto herself and not onto the response he just gave, which is extremely vague. And Vecna shows himself TWICE in front of Eddie: at the murder of Chrissy and at the murder of Patrick, making Jason (and the ones who were with him) believe that Eddie is a channel or connection to some kind of devil. Vecna did showed somehow himself in front of Max, Nancy, Dustin, Lucas and Steve, mostly because of Max almost getting killed, but none of them saw the process the way Eddie did. And worst, he killed Chrissy at Eddie's trailer!

In the episode 7, where Dustin, Erica, Lucas and Max find themselves in Eddie's trailer, a gate is opened at Eddie's roof. How come his uncle never said a thing nor saw it? It's impossible to not see a hella big gate with some thic sticks going out of your roof. Let's say that his uncle was busy working extra shifts so that's why he didn't notice, but wouldn't his uncle at least try to find Eddie since he ran away? What if his uncle thought that Eddie was again at the labs, where he once belonged? There aren't signs of Eddie's parents at all, and as the theory said, it all started because he mentioned having a buzz hair cut. Not only that, but if you see it clearly, he doesn't recall any memories other than the hellfire club, corroded coffin, and being a freak. Also, according to the theory of the superhero being a kid of a villain, Eddie is a "coward". He sees himself as that. But even so, he decided to help the guys. He went after Robin and Nancy to help Steve, he fought demobats to help his friend, and in the new episode he's Hella ready to fight back that bitch of Vecna. Now tell me, where did that coward go? Exactly. He's dead. Now, a superhero is fucking born, ready to kill Vecna and protect his friends. And to clean his name.

Now, most of the fans were against the possibility of Eddie being 010 because, in the show, we can see that 010 has deep blue eyes. BUT have you guys seen the kid who plays 010? His face looks a lot like Joey's, honestly (just like how the kid who played young Henry is a vivid version of James. I figured out that 001 was Henry because of his looks) His expression and the lips, he can totally do a young Joe at some project. Now, what about Mills face? There aren't too much similarities between Joe and Mills, but both of them share some physical characteristics, such as the brunette, dark hair, big almond brown eyes (in this brown eyes case, I'm talking about Eddie and not 010), both of them freaks, when Eleven has a long hair don't tell me you didn't see so many similarities with Eddie's one: curly as hell. Also, a fact that Eddie didn't sound surprised at all when the guys mentioned him about a friend with powers. It was like he didn't care: it could be because he already thought everything was possible after seeing Chrissy and Patrick died the way they did, or because he kinda knew that someone else survived after 001's massacre at the labs.

In the show, we can see that 010 is dead (he is shown lied down with his arm towards his head), so it seems impossible for him to be Eddie. However, 008 was also alive (despite Vecna killing em all) and her powers were related to an illusionist, so she was able to create an image in Vecna's head that made him believe she died. What if she and 010 didn't die? What if she protected him? Or even better, what if 010 has the same or similar powers than 008 and used it all while trying to defend himself from Vecna? So that's why Eddie doesn't have powers but is not surprised at all about some other kid having them?

Of course we can also say that Will or Jonathan are both Vecna's sons because they also share physical characteristics with him despite being weirdos as well, but since they already have a father that's shown and besides, Joyce is a brunette with big brown eyes, then it doesn't really apply here. My theory is that Eddie is Vecna's son with Eleven's (I'm totally in favor of that theory), but they don't share the same mother, since Eleven's mom, Terry, only remembers Eleven and 008, mostly Jane of course. There's no sign of 010 up until this season just like Eddie. EVERYONE seemed to know Eddie from before except the viewers or the youngest gang (Lucas, Dustin, Mike and Will), which is weird since Eddie has supposedly repeated three years his senior, then why no one mentioned him before? What if he actually is an illusionist and still have his powers so he made them believe he's been there for quite some time when the reality is another? I suppose that Eddie's mom in this case could be the sister of his uncle, so that's why he's taking care of him, because possibly his mother is dead. Who knows?

In the show is a typical thing to put the name of D&D characters to the villains. Isn't it great coincidence that Eddie is a dungeon master and is leading a campaign called "The Cult Of Vecna", I MEAN, isn't that some clue?

This isn't really relevant to the show but just saying that Millie, Joe Q and James Campbell Bower are all British people. Would be WAY TOO GOOD if they're related by blood in the series.

Another thing, not very relevant as well BUT: the first season shows a Mike helping Eleven turn into a normal girl by using his sister's clothes, makeup and a wig, some of which Eleven chose. For the fourth season we got a Mike wearing mullets because he admires Eddie a lot just like Dustin does, so he really wants to look like Eddie (I didn't say it, Netflix said so). So, Eleven looking like Nancy and Mike looking like Eddie? Mileven shipper here, they admire each other's siblings. So fucking cute.

I could just be spending way too much time on the series, or perhaps Eddie is related to Vecna and Eleven not, or maybe they are siblings and Creel blood runs on their veins. Who knows. All I know is that Eddie is between 5/6 years older than Eleven, and Henry probably had around 18/19, so it's completely possible for him to be Eddie's father, as it is possible for Eddie being 010 since the kids are ordered by ages. And if you look closely, 010 looks just like 5 years older than 011 when the massacre took place.
