Honestly I think the way the shippers of both of these ships talk about their ship is crazy. This is the weirdest, most conspiracy theory pilled, TikTok-y, “subtext” “coded” “parallel” etc (people do not know what these words mean) obsessed fandom I’ve ever been witness to. Keep it up, I want to study all of you
.
I may or may not be 2 days late to the party but…
HAPPY 10 YEARS OF STRANGER THINGS!! <3
Sometimes the audacity of this fandom astounds me. Imagine harassing someone into deleting their blog over a fictional character or an actor who's never gonna notice you, jesus
.
Continuing my other ask (about the quarry thing).
As a byler I can have some critiques about certain bylers too, mostly they are at some of the younger people in the fandom who act in a way that’s in my opinion, not respectful in fandom. BUT!! It goes both ways. If you know anything about fandom culture then you know that it’s considered respectful to engage with your own content and not go and hate about content people you disagree with make (unless it’s something actually harmful). People have free will and can create whatever content they want. However, complaining about a lack of content is absurd, no one owes you anything, people do this as a hobby, they make no profit from it, you can’t complain or demand for a certain type of content. You can go and create it. People will have different opinions than you but hating on their opinions is not going to create more content for what you actually like. I hope that’s something the entire ST fandom will come to understand.

i need the stranger things fandom to have the word conformity taken away from them. look at a fucking dictionary and use it when appropriate because at this point you’re just throwing words around without actually understanding them or even properly grasping the subject that you want to explore.
“Do you think Bylers just don’t watch the show or just made up their convictions regarding Mike? Do you think people just believe in Byler because of Will? “
Regardless of believing in Byler because of Will or not, bylers just see what they want. They claim there's no romance between characters they don't want to see together. They try to push the actors into being together. They refuse to see what's in front of them and instead they try to piece together a fucking mystery instead. It's gotten to be frustrating and tiring. It's to the point I agree with another anon. It's to the point I'm too exhausted to argue. Yet here I am I guess... Not trying to be rude but it's getting to a point where this fandom isn't worth this fucking stupid argument anymore.
