I think it's funny when people realize they've been saying my name wrong, but I've been answering to it anyways. Like, it's not that big of a deal to me, the difference is minor, but Gods do they panic when I clarify the pronunciation.

But I'm usually called al-list-er by people who don't know better, which is close enough for me to just roll with it, because why wouldn't I? It's not a huge deal and I'd feel rude stopping the conversation to clarify.
You know, until we get a new coworker who looks at my nametag and asks how to say my name properly while in earshot of people who've been saying it wrong for months. I can't help laughing at them every time as they REALIZE
