Roti Thosai and Murtabak is a type of dish of Indian. It is commonly seen at Mamak stalls.

Roti Thosai

Thosai (also called Dosa) is a renowned South Indian dish which is widely celebrated among Malaysians. It is made from a fermented batter hence it is rich in carbohydrates and protein. The main ingredients are rice and black gram, dhal, yeast, ghee, butter, salt and sugar.

Thosai is crisp and usually eaten with the sauces served on the side such as curry, dhal and coconut chutney. The sauces are matching with the Thosai thus it stimulates taste buds.

Murtabak

The price of Murtabak is RM5.

Murtabak likes an Indian pancake. It filled with garlic, egg, onion, chicken and is eaten with curry sauce. It like a sandwich include a lot of materials. Every bite you take will result in an explosion of savoury flavours and the satiety for Murtabak are endless.

Just had a simple food for sahur. Fried eggs over whole wheat bread. I've a document to be reviewed and then I need to attend a meeting chaired by the EXCO for Investment later.

No idea what I'll be having for iftar today. I've ran out of ideas.

Okay just attended a meeting chaired by the EXCO for Investments. It was a good and quick meeting. A few matters were discussed and addressed. And for a goodie bag they gave murtabak. So that's what I'm having for iftar today. Just need to make the sauce.

Found the recipe. Simple recipe actually. But it will taste good with murtabak. Can probably bottle it if there's leftover.

The sauce didn’t taste good. I just tweaked it a little. The rest of the onion I drained it away and kept the onions. I’ll make another one. This time I’m able to taste so could be a bit better.

I’ve had a great time meeting old friends in the last 3 nights in a row but glad for this respite tonight. I can now recover my sleep. I hope. I’m amazed at those out late and still able to function the next day.

I didn’t realise tomorrow is a public holiday. Nuzul Quran. So catching up on a few things I needed to deliver.
