It's annoying trying to look up symptoms on my blind eye 'cause most if not all of them are about eyes going blind, not changes to already blind eyes.

(It came with a camera attachment but it doesn't work with a three lens phone which is prolly why it was heavily discounted. Not everything has to be a photo but damn i wish I could show you)

i think some people post under “monocular” but it sucks that there’s not a huge one-eye community like there is for other disabilities on tumblr

The more I think about it, the more I realise that I, as a monocular (one-eyed) individual, think Fuyuhiko is a boss for ditching his eyepatch post-SDR2. The dude fucking owns his bad "eye" and doesn't give a fuck what others think about it, and I just think that's amazing.
I wore eyepatches and a prosthetic eye as a kid, but eventually stopped using them due to sensory issues (not helped by my glasses); my bad "eye" is mostly closed anyway, so much like post-SDR2 Fuyuhiko I just look like I'm winking all the time. I had a peek into online monocular communities for the first time and I can't help but feel kind of like the odd one out since everyone else wears eyepatches and prosthetics. I guess for that reason Fuyuhiko not having an eyepatch nor prosthetic post-SDR2 is weirdly affirming to me? Idk lol. Maybe I'll try prosthetics again sometime soon.
