When we booked our staycay with our rediscover vouchers, we didn’t even realise it was over Mother’s Day weekend but turns out it was the best time to have done our stay. Quality time, making new memories as a family and reminiscing how much has changed since we last stayed @mo_singapore (a good 10 years ago) was fun. Would have been more fun if we had better sleep so probably won’t be doing another staycay until the kids are much older 🥱😴😅 Really liked how they bothered to baby proof the room as much as possible. And the little touch of giving “Master Timothy” his own Mandarin Oriental panda bear just won my heart. Fun fact: because of my previous jobs (which feels like eons ago), I’ve had the privilege to have stayed at some of our iconic local hotels like here at MO, at MBS, and the Fullerton. Feels like there was one more but can’t remember now cause #mombrain so a ton of stuff has gone to #deletedmomories 😅 (do you know this #insideoutmovie reference? Hehe) Surprised our mamas with some Goodwood Park Hotel durian dessert treats on our way home that day and to everybody’s surprise (including my own), I indulged in it too.
