Hello everyone and welcome to pkmnirl! The community that inspired this blog goes by several names: pkmnirl, real pokemon/real pkmn, or rotomblr/rotumblr, but the central premise is always the same: roleplay as if pokemon are real. This blog is meant to serve as a resource hub for both new and experienced roleplayers. Here we reblog ask games, inbox prompts, and other roleplay resources as well as answer questions about where and how to start roleplaying in a community as unique as this one.
We've been operating since May of 2023, originally advertising public events that were being hosted by members of pkmnirl. As needs have changed, so have we, pivoting to what we do now! Some of our old links and posts may make reference to this former structure, but for the most part those days have passed. Should a need for them arise again however we would happily use them, so if you have an event you want promoted please don't hesitate to submit it via ask.
