what if she was an ex borg drone and you dont like her but you're the best mechanical engineer on the ship and you have to work on the maintenance of the remaining - and most crucial - implants on her body and the monthly check ups are always strangely intimate-
what if
what if we kissed in front of the warp core
just a quick kissy kiss for funsies
Some B7 for jadedofmara on Pillowfort!
[Image Description: Digital artwork of B'Elanna and Seven, shown from the shoulders up. Seven has her back to a wall, and B'Elanna is leaning in close with a hand on her shoulder. They frown uncertainly at one another as though realizing something mid-argument. /end ID]

Star Trek Voyager is a show designed to create insane shippers because there’s so much potential chemistry in the crew but the actual canon pairings are… not the best.
To illustrate my point, this is how I, a Voyager fan, would rank how much romantic chemistry each character has with the crew and also their top three pairings chemistry-wise:
1) Janeway (duh, she’s the chaotic bisexual Captain)
2) Paris (this chaotic bisexual pilot has chemistry with most of the crew)
3) Kim (he may just be an Ensign but he’s got chemistry with a lot of the crew)
4) Torres (she’s got a sensible amount of chemistry with the crew)
5) Seven (she’s got good chemistry with the Captain…)
6) Chakotay (he’s also got good chemistry with the Captain…)
7) Kes (there was some potentially good chemistry but alas)
8) Neelix (there was a a bit of potential chemistry perhaps)
9) The Doctor (there wasn’t much good chemistry…)
10) Tuvok (I’m not including any pairings for him because he is committed to T’pel)
So which couples are actually canon? These guys:
There’s only one canon couple in Voyager that I actually think has good chemistry, and that’s kind of insane in a show with a crew that’s full of pairings with chemistry…
Every interaction between them is gold 🥲 such potential for an enemies to lovers 🥹
