Hail and Well Met Friends!
What do you do when the Sims 4 got you down? Load up your 50 gbs medieval cc and find brand new ways to break your game! No? Just me?
Anyway ~ I cut this dress together because I wanted a simpler, about town dress for my merchants, and well-to-do peasantry to walk around in.
THREE VERSIONS:
V1: Simple and Clean
V2: Brocade with a textured fabric design
V3: Piratey with embroidered leather stays
!! There's also a Shirt Color Overlay in Rings if you're feeling spicy, but all the dresses have been designed to look nice even without it!
Through the dense Bramblewood forests, lies a little hunting ground where the noble lords visit for casual hunting gatherings. A muddy watering hole with boar tracks is the perfect spot for mushroom foraging and as the sun sets a little camp ground is a quiet place for poachers to rest or secret lovers to meet.
This is a CC free medieval hunting ground I made to use with @littlbowbub hunting and foraging mod to make going off on a hunt more immersive. With or without the mod it’s a little quiet patch of green woodlands, that opens up the entire forest and its foraging opportunities.
Aka my first time making a whole collection, instead of just dropping things as I make them. Wowie! I feel like a real creator now. Maybe it's finally time to sell out and institute 3-month early access and join the marketplace!!!
Anyway–
I've been rewatching Anne with an E and planning a little historical gameplay-ish project, and as always the 1890s-1900s have been heavily on my mind. Today I bring a humble offering of pastoral countryside fashions - including a BGC conversion and mesh edit of the new boater hat, as well as a set of dresses for girls, and some daywear for ladies.
9 items, BGC, disabled for random. Individual item info below the cut!
Three variations of the same basic dress, for girls of varying levels of fancyness. The ruffle around the collar of the Diana dress is ripped straight from @vintagesimstress, so many thanks for her open TOU!
The Ruby and Anne dresses take their textures from Diana, so the Diana dress is required if you want the other two to work. Each dress comes in my 30 solids and 24 of @trillyke's plaids, as per usual. Located in the long dress category. The Ruby dress has had the top ruffle removed, and the Anne dress has slimmer sleeves and a less poofy skirt - because we can't all have nice things, even when we really really want them. Sorry Anne.
The apron overlay is found in rings, and it works with all three dresses - as well as possibly with other dresses, though I haven't fully tested it. The overlay for the collar ruffle won't show up on Ruby and Anne, as seen in the cover image, but it may clip with textures if you try and use it on other dresses. This overlay also comes in 30 solids and 24 plaids!
Marilla Blouse / Prissy Dress / Boater Hat
As I was making my Marilla sim for my save file, I found that I really didn't have a lot of good options for simple, plain Victorian-ish blouses, especially given Marilla's open disregard for puff sleeves. So, I made one! This is a recolor of a blouse from L&D, but it has been made BGC so everyone can enjoy! This comes in 30 solids and 24 plaids.
The Prissy dress is a combination of the ever-beloved Edwardian dress from Get Together and the ruffly top from the sleepover kit. It's perfect for tea in the garden, strolling around town, and abandoning an ill-advised marriage to go to University. It comes in my usual 30 solids with a white base, 6 colors with a black base, and 10 extra pastel swatches.
The boater hat is instrumental to the turn-of-the-century-pastoral-aesthetic, and I really loved this one from the prairie kit, but the crown was just awkwardly tall. I shortened it as much as possible, recolored it to hell, and converted it for children and toddlers. 30 ribbon colors on a beige base, plus 8 of them also on black.

Ludivine's style is the epitome of British mod and French glamour in the mid-1960s, filled with colorful patterns, short skirts, and boots galore. As the muse and main model for Walsh Design, most of Ludivine's clothes are custom-made by her cousin Kit, though always with a personal touch of her own. Even if it means waking hours earlier than normal to straighten her mane of curly hair to fit the latest hairstyles, becoming a fashion icon herself as a rising actress in the French New Wave movement. As expected for a fashionable celebrity, her wardrobe is larger than other lookbooks. Ludivine's looks and style are based a lot on the wonderful Catherine Deneuve. Links and credits under the cut!
So, I had big plans for a set. But it was quite some time ago, and I finished only these three items, and everything else is now at the stage where I open the .blend file and think, "what the hell is going on here?" So I hope I will finish whatever there is to finish, or redo, or do something else… one day. But at the moment here is my version of a 1700s nightshirt and an untucked shirt for your pixel guys. For historical inaccuracy I'll blame all the "Getting Dressed in the 18th Century" videos on YouTube. Just joking - it's all me.
These are basically two items - the shirt comes as a fullbody outfit and as a top in the "blouse" category. Just because I planned it as a fullbody first, but then I thought that it's supposed to be not quite a night garment as it is, but more like something someone wears when they fall asleep half undressed. So it should be a top in the first place. So I decided to do two versions. But I do not like that I had to resize the diffuse map to fit it into the "top" section of a sim texture. Anyway, have fun.
Known problems: With some animations the legs can go through the bottom part of the shirt. This happens because the legs mesh is underneath the shirt mesh, and sometimes it just… happens.
To everyone who recently followed me for the Del Sol Valley texture overhaul... it's coming. It's a big mod and I'm brand new to modding and I don't know how to present my work properly yet. So like.. let me start smaller and do a recolor first 😝.
The original shirt is the Juliet Shirt by Sentate from their collection here. You need to download that shirt for the recolor to work!! It comes in these 12 swatches. <3
It's just a basic recolor but in my file only, I changed the SortLayer so that it will not be tucked into bottoms. I think it looks better that way. PRO TIP: To make shirts tucked, in CAS part make SortLayer 13000 and for untucked, SortLayer should be 16000. It needs to be done for every CAS part!!
More info and pictures and download location here.
So, this one is inspired (heavily, I tried my best to replicate the main details) by Lucille Sharpe's black velvet dress from Crimson Peak. Due to the skirt shape with a lot of sculptural elements, it sometimes morphs a little weirdly, but nothing too unnatural for TS4 meshes.
Known problems:
the decorative mesh with tassels on the right side clips with the dress (you can see it better on the blue dress in the preview). I cannot fix it because I do not understand the reason. To me, weight, uv_1, and vertex colors look fine, but still the problem occurs.
on bigger sims skirt goes through the tabletop. A little but still.
That's it. Mind the polycount. I do not like these numbers, but it is what it is for the amount of decorative elements this dress has.
download:
simfileshare | patreon (I'm still working through it, but you can download this cc here if it's not your day on simfileshare)
If you find some problems, tell me. I am only human and might have missed something. Holes, textural, and morphing problems are not intended and need to be fixed.

hey! i came here from pintrest looking for the marksmanship skill for ts4 but couldnt find it! is it still available?
Hey nonny,
People are bad at pinning sometimes, and accidentally pin like an entire Tumblr blog or tag instead of a specific post (ask me how I know this issue, it's me, I'm guilty of it), I've noticed there are some Pinterest links to just my like #1890s tags.
I don't use that mod myself, but googled it (it's by Jane Simsten) and found this patreon page on it. Doesn't look like it's been updated in a while but it may still work and just not have needed updates, really not sure!
When I watched the new season of Stranger Things at the end of last year, Holly Wheeler's outfit immediately caught my eye and I thought, “I have to do that!”. I also liked her best friend Mary's sweater. Very nice 80s vibe! I hope you like it too!

'Daisy' because it rhymes with 'Maisie' and both are bobs + Daisy from the Great Gatsby and this hair is very 1920s 1930s in my opinion
This was a bit of a nightmare (yes, despite bobs generally being easier, this mesh was rather quirky compared to the others, and took a few attempts to get into my usual format.)
YA-Elder : Unisex. (has been checked on male frame as well as female frame)

High poly. [43k poly at LOD0]
^unfortunately quite a hefty one because of the spirals :< as you can see, they're quite defined.
Functional Hat Chops [ review attached .gifs, they're not the best]
Disabled for random.
EA colours.
Categorized as 'wavy' (I do not have the newer update with the extra texture category yet).

Hat-Chops :
they're rather messy, I apologise - but the hair shape itself didn't make for a neat fit under the hats to begin with, so this was the best I could manage]

Morphs :
Fringe moves with eyebrows, looks fine if you don't get too silly with it. Because the back of the hair is voluminous, the back-of-neck slider doesn't pose an issue, either.
Extreme alterations to the eyebrows with sliders may cause distortion on the curl closest to the eyebrow, as well as some extreme expressions. Better than it clipping, but I feel I ought to mention.

I do not have the new update because I am a weenie.
Made with game version : 1.120.117.1030.
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
Other known issues :
In an attempt to try and get this polygon count down, only certain areas of the mesh have been doubled over to account for TS4's automatic back-face-culling. In most cases, the areas which are one-sided should not be visible (and gaps in the hair should not be obvious during game-play, as only gaps that could not be seen were left), however, I cannot say for certain that I have considered every angle possible in game, especially if you are one of the strong-stomached individuals who plays in first-person camera mode - so be aware, there may be gaps!
As always, depending on your sim's ears, there may be some clipping. I can't do much about that, sorry. Try my ear-remover earrings and see if it helps. Unfortunately TS4 doesn't have ear-bones so it's not like I can weight the hair to morph proportionally with the ears like I can with the forehead/eyebrows. It's just one of those things.

TOU and Stuff :
I am a hobbyist. You get what you see. This is what it looks like in my game.
Posies converts solely for fun and to bring items into the sims 4 which Posies enjoys and believes can be used for players to greater express themselves.
The meshes Posies has used have already been on the internet for some time. Posies isn't converting the meshes entirely faithfully, but trying to be creative and transformative with how Posies uses the textures and meshes Posies converts.
Non commercial share-alike only, This post is not monetized, you should not monetize or otherwise profit from the use of this mesh, these files, these textures. You should not monetize or otherwise profit from derivatives of this mesh, these files, these textures. Bundling this file into paid sim-dumps, republishing links to this file on sites which receive ad revenue, bundling this file and republishing this for any commercial use is prohibited.

Posies does not support selling conversions from other games into the sims 4 (nor any other game for that matter.).
Don't be a rotten gourd.
TOU* :

Edits and recolors are welcome. You may include the mesh.
Conversions to other sim games is fine.
Conversions to games that don't have rewards for creating / uploading cc is fine. You might find it better to just convert straight from the source games rather than using my versions, though.
Reuploading is fine for archival purposes (If my patreon and SFS are gone, and my tumblr has not provided other links)
Use in deco sims or build objects is fine (that'd be really cool!!!)
Make corrections or compatibility updates if Posies is unable to do it, inactive or too busy.

I probably forgot something but I'm going to sleep now so idk.
Decorative Edwardian-style blouses, perfect for adding a touch of vintage elegance to your interiors. Designed as clutter, these items are non-functional and intended purely for aesthetic storytelling. Come in 4 neutral color swatches !
You need the MESH by @SloxSims (Ogy Folded Clothes)
I've been itching to try my hand at proper CC making for a while, and in my naivety decided that 1920s silhouettes would be pretty simple to create, so the Sybil dress was born! Personally I've always found there's a gap in historical CC for more simple daywear, so I've create a simple, summery day dress inspired by early 1920s fashion plates.
This project could not be released without saying a massive thank you to @surely-sims -- as well as being an amazingly talented storyteller and creator, Anne is also the kindest and most patient CC fairy godmother out there, and I couldn't have completed this without her help!

Basegame compatible

Comes in 15 solid swatches and 6 floral swatches (as you can see from the preview the skirt pattern is unfortunately distorted, this was the best I could get it while remaining sane)

Please tag me if you end up using this piece, I'd love to see it in other people's games. And also please let me know if you find any issues with it, I'm very much still learning!

Lately, I have found myself interested in the 1930s, so here is a nightgown that is a pastiche of different ones I have come across during my "research" ❤
The difficulty with simple garments is rarely the mesh -- even if that also took me a while -- but the texture. I try my best to add every detail I can find from extant garments, which can be a bit time-consuming to figure out the best and most visually pleasing application.
This post includes:
BGC
32 Swatches
All LODs
All Maps
Teen to elder
Feminine frame
Lingerie & Long Dress section
Swatches:
Amongst life changes and bigger projects, I've been feeling a bit exhausted lately. I haven't been in my usual zone, which is why this post is a bit later than my usual schedule. Apologies! I know this took way longer than it should have. This is, after all, only a hobby of mine, so it takes a side step sometimes. To keep posting fun for me, and not feel like it's a chore, I think I will start adopting a looser structure again, but we will have to see.
We made it to 2026 and another new year means a small gift of new CC. Part III offers mix-and-match tops and bottoms (+ 1 dress) inspired by my own original character, Ruby Atlas Oliver, from my '30s DSV save. As always, I hope you enjoy these items as much as I do and please tag me if you use them!

UPDATE 1/7/26:
Please redownload the ATLAS DRESS OR the MERGED file. Thanks to Surely-Sims who caught an issue with weights and a jewelry exclusion error. And thank you all for your patience as my scrambled brain tries to remember how to make CC after months away lol.
