Jumin

You and Jumin had been married for a couple of months. He made sure to hire the best fashion designers and makeup artists to make you look unbelievable for your wedding. When you first started living at Jumin’s studio, he assumed that you couldn’t bring your makeup from Rika’s apartment, so you didn’t bother. Shortly after the RFA party, he realised that you never wore makeup, even when he offered to purchase you high quality products. He was confused- all girls wear makeup, don’t they? He began taking a closer look at his female colleagues, leading to some angry outbursts from Jaehee- apparently women didn’t like to be stared at. The fact that you didn’t wear makeup didn’t bother him, he just found it odd. Whenever you had outings, he would always just hire someone to do your hair and makeup and the media never really paid mind to your face. It wasn’t until you were meeting Jumin’s father at a fancy restaurant and your makeup artist had to cancel last minute that you had done your makeup by yourself. You never went through the acne stage of puberty, so you never bothered wearing it. The last time you did it yourself was as a little kid when playing with makeup at a sleepover party.  

Now, you were stuck, standing in front of the mirror, surrounded by beauty supplies. “What’s that?” You thought to yourself, picking up what looked like an eyeshadow pallet. “Highlighter? And this isn’t a brand name… I guess I’m not using this.” You skipped a lot of steps a woman of your age would typically go through to do her makeup as you simply didn’t understand the purpose. You gave up on the eyeliner because it was crooked no matter how many times you’ve done it and you almost poked your eye out on several occasions; you gave up on concealer because what the fuck is a concealer?

When you were finally done, you sighed. “Good enough.” You fixed your hair that the hairstylist had completed about an hour ago and smacked your lips together after one last coat of lipstick.

You walked out of the bathroom, into your bedroom to show your husband. Upon seeing your face, he turned pale as a ghost. “Um… it’s nice, kitten… what a unique choice of colours for your eyes. Are you sure this is practical?” You assumed that purple eyeshadow would be a good asset to your purple dress. Unfortunately, the purple from the eyeshadow kit Jumin gave you was very subtle when placed on the face so you needed to apply multiple layers. “I believe you have applied too much foundation, as well… you look like Elizabeth III.” Elizabeth meowed from between his dress shoes.

“Um…” you didn’t know what to say. You weren’t angry at him. Your husband was always incredibly blunt, which either made arguments extremely easy to be sorted out or even easier to begin.

“I will need to reschedule…” Jumin looked down at his phone and sent a text, probably to Jaehee to cancel. 

Jumin felt bad that you didn’t know how to apply makeup as he felt all girls should be able to. When he had handed you the makeup, he assumed you knew what you were doing and left it at that. He decided he would sign you up for basic makeup classes just in case one of his stylists cancelled again.  

Seven

Being married to Saeyoung meant a lot of commitments. While this required emotional support, for not only your husband but also his brother, there were tons of fun commitments. One of Saeyoung’s favourite things to do was cosplay…or should I say crossplay? Whether it was for the hell of it, or to mess with the RFA on the messenger, or for...um…intimate times, he was intent on dressing up. This never bothered you. You’d often go along with it and help him dress up, occasionally dressing up yourself. It was fine until the day Saeyoung broke his arm. You don’t know what he did and questioned if you even wanted to know. According to Saeran, he was paying too much attention to his phone and ended up jamming his arm hard with his car door… you figured there was more to the story. Since he was left without his dominant arm, Saeyoung relied on you and Saeran to complete a lot of his everyday tasks. You were fine doing all of these chores- you did most of the chores anyways, but trouble came when he asked you to do his makeup. Whenever you cosplayed, Saeyoung always offered to do the makeup. You didn’t bother telling him that you don’t know how to put it on properly, but never considered he would break his arm.

“Baaaaaabeeeeee” he whined, more to annoy you than anything else.

“Whaaaaat? You whined back.

“I’m gonna dress up as a magical girl! Can you do my makeup?”

“I guess...” you hesitated.

So there you were, standing in front of his never ending pile of makeup supplies- surprisingly even larger than his load of Honey Buddha Chips. You sifted through his supplies until you could find some items you recognized and went to work. Unlike his normal hyper self, Saeyoung was very calm when applying makeup, to be as precise as possible. You hoped he didn’t notice your shaking hand when you applied his eyeliner because he definitely would when you were finished. He noticed there was an issue when you spread way too much setting powder on his face, causing him to cough and sneeze. He quickly felt around beside him to find his glasses and picked up the mirror in a hurry. The smirk on his face was not satisfaction but of amusement. You couldn’t get him to stop laughing and you couldn’t reach his phone in time for him to post a bunch of selfies on the RFA chat, showing off your “makeup wonders”. 

Yoosung

You and Yoosung had been dating for a couple of years. He had finished his degree and was opening his veterinarian office very soon. The boy never noticed that you didn’t wear makeup. He didn’t notice a lot of things, but that’s because it’s difficult to get him to think. Due to the grand opening of his veterinarian office, you decided that you would dress up and put more effort into your appearance. You knew Yoosung would find you beautiful no matter how you looked, you just wanted to try a bit harder and maybe give him more of a reason to show you off to his friends. After all, he was the first of his friends to get a girlfriend.

You got up around the same time as Yoosung did that day, something Yoosung found a bit odd as it was your day off. Nonetheless, he made you a quick breakfast before heading out to the office. When you heard the door shut, you got all excited and had to find a way to control yourself before you started your makeup. It took a couple of hours, but you were ready to see your boyfriend.

Upon walking into the clinic, you received a few stares from the visitors to the party. You shrugged it off, assuming they were confused how Yoosung could land such a pretty girl. It was not until you reached him, that you realised something was off.

“Hey, MC!” Yoosung exclaimed, trying to hold a smile and bite back his laughter.

“Yoosung! I’m so proud of you!” You ran up and hugged your boyfriend.

“Thanks! A-and you look… um… different? Did you do something with your face?” he asked hesitantly.

“Um, yeah. Is there something wrong?”

“Oh, aha, no. You look lovely, but I think you have something on your cheek…you should check it out in the bathroom…” You realised all of the stares you had been receiving- it was the makeup! How did you mess up? Wasn’t it in a girl’s genes to make the perfect eyeliner wing? Your face turned bright red as you looked down in embarrassment. “Oh, um. Can everyone excuse me?”

Yoosung took you to the side and lifted up your face to look eye to eye. “Uh, you wore makeup!” he tried so hard to sound enthusiastic.

“Yeah… I guess it didn’t turn out how I wanted it to…” you giggled.

He giggled, too. “You know you don’t have to do that for me. You look beautiful just as your natural self!”

You nodded but looked down again. “I wanted to impress you and make you happy…”

“How can I not be happy? My girlfriend tried to put on makeup just for me! I bet all of my friends are jealous!”

“Should I take it off?” you asked, meekly.  

“Let’s go to the bathroom.”

The rest of the afternoon went by smoothly. Nobody brought up the makeup fiasco and Yoosung was extremely happy with how many potential clients turned up. You were given several compliments from Yoosung’s friends, including some hitting on you to Yoosung’s demise. You decided you would never attempt to wear makeup before making sure you didn’t look like a clown.

Zen

Dating Hyun had its ups and its downs. He was a semi-famous theatre actor and constantly had girls flocking to him, whether you were present or not. You knew Hyun was faithful and loved you dearly, but you couldn’t help but feel intimidated by some of his gorgeous fangirls. They were lovely, while you were plain. You often visited Hyun directly after your long day at work, so you never exactly looked your best. He seemed happy to see you regardless, but you felt that you should put in a little more effort in the case that he was having second thoughts about you. On a day when you were allowed to leave work earlier, you decided to stop by your shared apartment and “doll yourself up”. You were never one to put too much effort into your appearance. You would wear light makeup to make yourself look presentable in an office environment, but never felt the need to do anything extravagant. This time was going to be different. You pulled out the eyeshadow kit your sister had given you for Christmas years ago, unopened but ready to be used.

You breathed in, ready to open the doors to Hyun’s studio. You were a bit nervous about showing up earlier than expected, but figured the surprise would make him happy. However, this was not exactly the case…

Hyun screamed higher than you knew was possible, almost high enough to be a dog whistle, when you walked into the theatre. “O-oh! MC! That’s you! I thought you were- um…. Is it October already?”

That was the moment you realised you fucked up. “U-uh…I gotta go!” You quickly ran out to the streets, ready to walk home, ready to try and convince Hyun it was an allusion…but you were stopped.

“Jagiya! What’s the rush? Didn’t you want to see me?”

“Oh, um… I realised that something sudden came up-” You went to leave, but were stopped by Hyun’s tight arms.

“Jagiya, you don’t need to hide. I was just surprised. I feel so bad for reacting like that! Please forgive me! Turn around, please! I want to see you!”

You gave your panicking boyfriend a break and turned to face him, with a sigh. “Yeah, I look stupid, I know… I just figured I needed to look pretty to be-”

“You’re too perfect for me!” he interrupted you. “Don’t you ever think that you’re not pretty or smart or charismatic or anything! I don’t deserve such an angelic soul! You were the one who loved me from what was inside and not for my face! Jagiya-why are you crying?” He grabbed hold of your head and pressed it to his chest. Hyun ran his fingers through your hair until you calmed down.

“I’m sorry,” you mumbled. “I wanted to be like the girls you are surrounded by, Lovely Zen…but I’m not like them at all.”

“You not being like them at all is why I’m with you and not them! Do you think they’re able to make me smile as much as you do?”

“Memories” - A Mystic messenger HC

It’s about six months since your first party, and it was a success. Given it’s a success, it’s no wonder the RFA wanted another party that is on a larger scale. And of course, you are the party coordinator again.

You took out your long list of recommended guests while you’re at Jumin’s penthouse. It’s about two hours before your arranged meeting time for a dinner date. Since you’re early and Jumin is not home yet, you might as well work.

You are kind of at a loss of what to do. It may still be a party, but it’s, after all, on a much larger scale. While you’re lost in thoughts filled with the party, you heard a loud crash in Jumin’s bedroom.

“Oh shit! Elly!” You might have spent a little too much time around 707. “-zabeth the third!” Her full name was quite a mouthful. You walked into the room to see Jumin’s books all over the floor, in a mess. The white cat brushed against your leg softly, asking for a pat. She must have think she did a good job.

Oh well, you just gave her the pat she wanted, grateful for the distract and began cleaning up the mess. Just when you’re about to be done, you notice a thick photo album and you couldn’t help but flipped it open.

You giggled softly when you open up to an album full of the beautiful white cat’s photos, from when she was a kitten to a cat. Oh right, he was extremely obsessed over his cat when you first met him. And now he’s obsessed over the both of you.

The album was full of random photographs, with most photos of Elizabeth, followed by Jumin and V in his childhood and many other photos including photos of your honeymoon. However, one particular photo caught your attention.

Suddenly, you felt an arm around your waist and your beloved whispering your name into your ear. It gave you quite a shock. You were so engrossed in your finding you didn’t even realize he was back.

“What are you looking at?” He looked curiously over your shoulder. You brought the photo up for him to see while your shoulder shook from laughter.

“Oh, that. How nostalgic.” You caught him smiling a little and you swooned a little at his precious smile.

“When was this taken?”

“The last party before you joined, when I brought Elizabeth the third to the party.” He looked at the photo so fondly you felt the need to give him a tight hug. Who was the one who said Jumin Han is an emotionless robot?

“Gap moe,” you mumbled softly to yourself before giving your man a peck on his lips. You love this man to death.

So I’m not sure if you wanted a long distance relationship or how they were coping without MC but if your sad I want you to feel some love so I hope this works 

And best of luck! I remember moving away, it can be super tough. But, as scary as it is, you’ll find it’s also a bit comforting that you have the opportunity to become anything you want to be. No one in your new life remembers that embarrassing thing from middle school, everyone has a clean slate, and you’ll have so many new opportunities. And everyone back home is always a phone call away. Hope you feel better soon <3

Yoosung

You’re crying on the phone as you leave

He’s heartbroken but he stays on the phone with you the whole ride there

Once you get there he gives you time to unpack before calling again

He talks until you fall asleep on the phone.

Thats what you two do

You’re on the phone constantly

Once your life becomes a little more busy, you guys make scheduled times to talk to one another, to video chat, even just watch movies at the same time and talk about it.

Even with a time difference he’s always ready to answer to phone and talk with you

Jaehee

She is so supportive

Every difficulty you’ve come by, she’s been right by your side to help

Whether it be something simple like packing, or the moments your crying as you get ready to leave officially, she’s there. Holding your hand and hugging you and assuring you everything is going to be alright

She doesn’t sugarcoat it though, she tells you straight up how hard it’s going to feel sometimes

But you appreciate it, because then when she’s telling you how much you’ll adjust and how everything will get sorted out, you believe her because you know she means it.

She’s helped schedule everything so your trip there goes as smoothly as possible

She kisses your forehead as you leave and tells you to call her if you need anything, or as soon as your settled in. Whichever comes first.

Zen

He starts saving money to come visit immediately

He held you in the tightest hug ever before you left

You didn’t know it, but he sobbed his eyes out as your ride turned the corner out of his eyesight.

Snapchat became such a thing for you two

Constant selfies of each other. Face timing. 

You guys would call each other on the phone just to silently enjoy the others presence as you puttered around.

In your moments of weakness and misery he always seemed to have the right words to cheer you up, given that made you miss him even more but hey, it was still nice. 

He constantly kept you updated on his “travel” fund to come visit

Only to end up surprising you one day by waiting outside your building with a bouquet of flowers

Jumin

He tried opening a C&R branch in the city of your new school

The idea was shot down, and he was furious for a moment before you sat down and talked some sense into him

He gave a discontented sigh and pulled you into his arms

He’s so happy your pursuing your education, but he hates seeing you so sad. 

He hired people to do the packing for you and arrange your trip to be as easy as possible

You two spend the night before your departure just holding each other

“You say the word and you have the fastest flight back home” He kept saying

“I can’t just come home every weekend…” You sighed

“You can.” 

“Jumin. You know that’s unreasonable.” 

He grumbled

He didn’t let the subject go though

He ended up buying an apartment in the city you were moving to, it would remain empty most of the time, but he would try to come and visit at least once a month and that’s where he’d stay. Occasionally he’d stay a whole week, telling the office he’d be working from home.

He will make this work

Seven

He is so heartbroken but he will not show it

You’re having a hard enough time without him being a cry baby too

But also, he realizes that distance is just that

Distance

He loves you so so so so much, he doesn’t care how many miles are between you

He smothers you with kisses whenever you start crying and promise how this isn’t an end, just a start. 

He can’t promise to visit often for secret agent reasons, but he promises that he’ll always be watching and that all you have to do is call and he’ll be there instantly.

He background checks every single thing and person you will be coming into contact with on your way there and gives you the low down on everything

You thought Jumin and Jaehee knew how to prepare? Seven just took the cake.

He wants to make your trip as easy as possible and even calls ahead and finds the place your living and tells you all about your future neighbors. 

He may even rearrange the quarters so you’re living near people he’ll think you like. 

“What no MC of course I didn’t hack your school hahaahhahaha”

A final embrace and “I love you before going”

He’s so goddamn mature

He just gives you so much insightful advice, but when you start crying he just holds you and tells you to let it all out and ugh

Everything he does is always exactly what you need

He helps you pack and organize and plan

He helps with almost everything though you are the one in charge of it because he does want you to be independent since you’re going to have to be while gone

But he’s so loving about everything and it’s like he can sense when you’re about to breakdown because he hugs you at just the right time and runs his hands through your hair and rubs your back

You try to apologize for making a mess of his shirt but he just chuckles and assures you it’s ok

That it’s all going to be Ok

Like the others, you two talk on the phone a lot.

Sometimes he makes excuses to come out and see you

“Oh yeah, I hear the town is lovely for photography…”

You always say how he makes everything better, but he’s always quick to remind you that

“No MC, you make everything better. I may help, but the power is in your hands and from here you get to take control and choose what happens and what you’ll do. And I believe you’ll make the best out of a rough situation. I love you, MC.”

Saeran

He insists on coming with you at first

Saying he’ll find a way to live on his own out there

But you tell him that you’d much prefer for him to keep living with Saeyoung, that it’s healthier and safer for him and you’ll feel more at ease that way

You both have a really hard time accepting this all at first, but together, you find a way.

You make a schedule to call each other, even though it’s often broken and you two call each other at random times anyways

Seven did you two a favor and made dolls of each other with little catchphrases the other says

As well as provided you both with your own personal face time app that runs much smoother than any other

Saeran holds onto you up until the moment you leave

Jumin

At first, he does not understand the appeal of such an impractical hobby. He’d much rather control his own life than a virtual life. He often ignores you when you spend all of your time playing, sighing and shaking his head. This is until you show him that he can customize cats to look like Elizabeth III. Jumin is now obsessed with his virtual Elizabeth as he now has three important possessions in his life. One day, you decide to take a peak at his household, expecting there to only be him and the cat. A smile slowly spreads to your face when you notice that Jumin had created a married family with you, Elizabeth and two children. A blush creeps up your face at the subject of children.

“What are you doing, love?” you hear Jumin from behind.

“N-nothing!” you stammer, trying to block the computer from his view.

However, your husband gets a peek of the screen and chuckles. “It’s not nothing. It’s our family…unless you don’t want this…”

“No! Of course I want this!” you exclaim, hearing the disappointment in his voice. “I-it’s just embarrassing…"

You can feel his breath against your ear when he whispers, “then how about we woohoo and see if we can try for a baby.”

Seven

Seven doesn’t have a lot of time to play video games and will mostly chose a game where he can play for a couple of hours at most. When he hears that you are into the Sims, he gets very excited because he likes to make up stupid looking Sims in his spare time. When he shows you his game, it is filled with CCs and Mods.

He laughs hysterically when clicking on one of his families. “Th-this is Jumin! Hhahaha! He looks so stupid! I gave him a big head because it would be so hilarious! And look at Elly! Isn’t she adorable? She belongs to my household now because we’re married!” he clicks on another household that is supposed to be of Yoosung. “Look at Yoosung’s ass! It’s because his fat ass is always on the computer!” Seven is laughing hysterically, despite the irony of his statement. He continues to show you all of his families and how ridiculous everybody looks- except for him and Elly, of course (he actually made himself a muscular god-like man with a magnificent moustache). He eventually gets to the Sim he made of you. “This is you, MC! Aren’t you the cutest thing ever? I’m cheating on my Elly with you and we have so many children!” he exclaims. It was clear that he took his time when making your Sim as it looked like an exact replica of you. You giggle along with your redheaded dork and lay your head on his shoulder.

Yoosung

He isn’t phased by this at first. He is obsessed with a game, himself, so it would be hypocritical to judge your obsession. You often game beside each other, silently enjoying the other’s comfort. This is until one day you leave your game open on your laptop in order to use the bathroom. Yoosung curiously takes a peek at the screen and immediately goes back to LOLOL. You come back to a silent Yoosung, pouting.

“What’s wrong?”

“Your Sim is flirting with another man…” he sulked.

You laugh at his ridiculous behaviour. “Well, yeah. That’s part of the game…”

All of a sudden the boy jumps from his chair and pushes you onto the ground beneath him. “But you can’t love anybody except me- even if it is fake! I’m the only one you’re allowed to love!”

You’re taken back by his dominating nature as this is not the norm… you like his protectiveness.

“Hmm what if I make a family for the both of us?” you grin.

Yoosung suddenly gets up, flustered at the idea. “Ye-yeah” he says, losing his composure, “then you can be mine even in the virtual reality!”

Zen

This man has a dinosaur desktop that runs incredibly slow due to the dusty fan. You, Seven, and Yoosung are constantly telling him to upgrade and Jumin even offered to purchase a brand new computer. Zen refused all of the offers, believing that being up to date with technology wasn’t important… plus he didn’t want the trust fund kid to buy him something. So when you decide to stay over at his house one night and bring over your laptop to play the Sims, Zen is quite confused. His computer could never handle the graphics and would immediately crash if he were to even try to install a game like that. He had previously tried to play Second Life, which ended miserably.

“What is that?” he asks, peeking over your shoulder.

“The Sims!” you exclaim. “You can make your own virtual world! This is my Sim right here!”

He was taken aback at the resemblance between you and your Sim. Out of interest, Zen asks if he can create a character to play. This man is now obsessed with his virtual self, obsessively changing his outfits and taking over your laptop every time you come over.

“MC!” he calls. “Who do you find more handsome? Me or him? I’m afraid I’ve made my virtual self too attractive, like look at that body!”

I assume by “girl hair” you mean long hair? Hair length is not confined by gender, I myself have long hair halfway down my back and I am by no means a girl thank.

Oliver would probably be pretty good at it, yeah. Like, the professional sort of styling with those really fancy updos. Marcus is probably good with some styling, I mean his dad and his hair, right?

Chase and Adam would probably be pretty used to doing some of the more basic stuff, like braids (french and regular) and buns and stuff. (I say “stuff” ‘cause I know nothing about this really, my own styling consists solely of pony tails and sloppy buns, and occasionally braids over the shoulder, straight back if I have someone else to do it for me, so just pretend there’s real words there lmao). I mean, growing up with Bree, all three pretty much alone, it no doubt happened.
