After the little incident with Niji, Crocodile had made sure he or a Bones was nearby whilst they were visiting. He didn’t trust that jumped up little prince at all. You found Crocodile in his study in his long dark green smoking jacket which was loosely tied showing off his beautiful bare chest that crept out over his shirt, sat in front of an open fire sipping wine.

“There you are” he said cooly, noticing your presence as you crossed the room to him.

“Bones said you wanted to see me”

He nodded setting his glass down and taking your small hand in his and guided you to his lap. He peered down at you with a hungry predatory gaze leaning in to capture your lips. You hadn’t seen each other all day and that was torture itself. He rested his hook behind you, gently rubbing your back with it as his hand caressed your beautiful face. “Miho. My sweet. It’s time-“

“For what?” You asked curiously, he seemed so serious all of a sudden: more so than normal.

“Marriage. You already agreed to be by my side foreve and I’ve been busy but now I’m going to arrange our wedding.” He explained calmly

You stared up at him trying to figure out the reason, he hadn’t brought it up in months. You were waiting for the right time. Then it hit you. “This isn’t about Niji is it?” You saw his brow furrow “that’s a yes then.” You chuckled reaching up to touch at his chiseled jaw, shifting to kiss him fondly “you know my heart only beats for you” you smiled “my gator~”

He grumbled. He hated that nickname. “He needs to know who he’s messing with. My queen. He should just be honoured to simply look at your beauty.” He looked away stubbornly “he is- younger-“

You laughed. You laughed loudly “oh. Crocodile. My love. Why would I want a prince when I can have dangerously handsome king. There is no one finer than you.” You kissed him again feeling his hook trail up and down your back softly making you shiver. “So when are we getting married?” You asked

“Bentham insisted on organising it, he’s going to take you dress shopping tomorrow. Everything should be ready by next week” he explained running his hand through your soft hair as you rested your head against his delightfully firm chest.

“I’ll be mrs crocodile soon” you grinned excitedly “does this mean we should...wait until our wedding night to-“

Crocodile growled pulling you further onto his lap “No.” he replied firmly “I need you by my side -always-“

You smiled kissing at his jaw “is here fine? That rug looks inviting” you said with a playful wink.

The intriguing thing about this beer is not that I discovered it by accident at this diner/beer bar on Powell street here in San Francisco, but that it is so poorly reviewed on nearly every site I've seen earning garbage reviews on nearly all fronts. This beer has become one of my favorites and has truly shown that sometimes the reviews are not always going to point you in the right direction. While I'm not keen on many red ales, this beer is unique. It pours a reddish orange with a barely off white head. The strong hop aroma is a bit more earthy than that of the Pliny I described before but the hoppiness is complimented by an almost caramely/toffee like sweetness that hits the palette in the same spot as the hops, yet aren't as up front as the beer first hits the tongue. The sweetness is driven by a strong malt aroma. The rest of the snobs can hate all they want, I enjoy this beer greatly and haven't had any negative responses to the numerous friends I’ve had try it. This isn't a beer you should necessarily scour the earth for, but you can pick it up at BevMo for a few bucks and is a perfect beer for a beginners palette.
