I went back into trying to play Raft, and I really wish the game had released some sort of post-game DLC, because I remember I had fun making my raft, designing it so that all the pipes were invisible and that things worked fairly well. Not optimal, but I liked how I had made it. However, after doing the last island in the main story, and we get some very cool items, things stop. Why keep playing, is there anything more to do? Why use all the new stuff we acquired, when the story is over? I mean, yeah, sure I can keep playing to get resources to build on my raft, but why?
Like, I get that Minecraft also has that happen, but I still wish there was an update to get us to a new island, perhaps for some other stuff. Personally I would have liked a way to use electricity that did not depend on batteries, because I had this wonderful design on my raft where all pipes were hidden behind walls and the floor, and I was really proud of it, but surprisingly in an enviromentally-conscious game like Raft, there are not that many machines that rely on oil, haha.
