Doodle #1 of the day: Cuddle time

A/N: this is the second fic I’ve ever wrote and I’m so sorry if there are any mistakes or mischaracterization my first language isn’t English. I found the dividers on the internet, so they are not mine. I’m bad at titles and please I you read it give honest feedback!

The city of water. The crew had just docked at water 7 which Usopp found to be the perfect place to get a present for Sanji.

“Nami! Nami!” Usupp screamed across the whole Going Merry making Zoro grumble about him disturbing his peace.

“What do you need? I’m busy right now!” Nami asked emerging from the navigation room.

“Oh, there you are! I was looking all over for you! I need some Berry for a present for Sanji!”

He could see Nami’s face changing from annoyance to excitement in a matter of seconds. “That’s so sweet! But why would you get him a present? Is it his birthday?” she asked confused.

“Oh no it isn’t I just thought he might appreciate it”

“Why do you have to be so sweet? It’s so unfair! Here you go! Anyway, I got to get back to work again sorry!” Nami said throwing him a small satchel of Coins.

“Fresh Fruit!” one of the vendors called out in Usopp’s direction as he was aimlessly strolling through the bustling streets of the city.

“Ugh this is what I get for trying to make Sanji a nice present” Usopp sighed giving up trying to find a present since he’s been searching for about 2 hours.

Slowly trotting back to the ship, he had already completely given up his hopes of finding something for Sanji when a bright booth caught his eye.

“Hey Nami look!” Usopp called out for the navigator.

“Ooh those are so pretty!” Nami admired the plant seeds usopp is showing of to her “, but how do you reckon he will plant those?”

“I’m going to build him a planter.”

Later that night Sanji and Usopp went to bed early and were now just lying in bed talking about their day and cuddling.

“I saw some really cool looking seeds at one of the booths today” Sanji said after Usopp asked him if he found anything interesting while shopping.

“W-what? What did they look like?” Usopp questioned chocking on air.

Sanji could see his boyfriends face go pale as he described exactly the seeds Usopp wanted to gift to him.

“Is everything alright mon ange? You’re looking a bit pale there did I say something wrong?”

“No, no not at all! Did you buy the seeds in the end? They sound like they look pretty”

“No, I didn’t. Nami would’ve killed me if I were to plant something in between her trees” he chuckled at the thought of Nami complaining.

“Thank goodness” Usopp muttered under his breath.

“What was that mon ceour?”

“Nothing nothing!”

“Sanji come here!” The sniper called from the kitchen of the going merry.

“What do you need? Are you hungry? Why are we in the kitchen? And what is THAT?” Sanji asked seeing a Square shaped object with a piece of linen draped over it.

“I have a present for you!” Usopp proudly announced.

“What? Why would you do that mon cherie? Is it my birthday and I just forgot?”

“No, it’s not your birthday but I thought I could show you some appreciation for always looking out for me and the crew. Go on look at it!”

“You know you really don’t have to give me anything right I would gladly look out for any of the crew and especially you without anything in return?” Sanji said with a slightly worried tone.

“Just open it and tell me what you think”

The cook slowly moved toward the box pulling the sheet of revealing a planter with a little satchel full of the seeds Sanji had mentioned the last night.

“I know it might look a bit wonky even though I tried my best we didn’t have enough materials and…” the inventor began to ramble on.

“Its perfect. I love it” Sanji stopped his rambling pulling him into a tight hug making Usopp go stiff for a second before melting into the hug.

“You Do?”

“Absolutely. Help me plant them?” Sanji said pulling away from the hug to gaze into Usopp’s eyes.
