I absolutely love Mentmore Towers. Since updating my CC I couldn’t resist upgrading the windows with the Berlin Set from Felixandre from the georgian london style ones I used perviously. I think it looks much better, certainly more accurate.
Not that I condone trespassing in anyway... but... with urban “explorers” making their way in the house we were able to see more of how the house is laid out, and some of the rooms like the conservatory which previously we had little knowledge of how it looked inside. It made me want to go back and upgrade rooms whoch I had previously just made up.
I also kept the Library I had previosuly built. Its inspired by the Library section of Wayne Mnaor from Batman Begins (2005). Its not actually part of Mentmore, its just a set but I like it, and including it saves me endlessly constructing the maze of serverts quaters. I think we’d all rather have more space for books! Its the same with the Great Hall. Mentmore actaully has a wooden floor in its empty great hall, but I always decorate it as best I can to look like the great hall from Wayne Manor in Batman Begins (2005). Its wooden floor is marble, its covers in rugs, lush warm furnishings, flowers from the garden, paintings etc. More inviting.
I will be uploading this soon, I just need to work on the remaining bedrooms whoich shouldnt take long, and work on the little room at the end of the libabry that acts as Bruce’s secret entrace to the Batcave, in the South-East corner.
