1) A normal teen receives a mystical/cosmic accessory.
2) She has to recite an oath to activate the powers.
3) The ring transforms her clothes into the costume.
4) Her power is emotion-based and imagination-based.
5) She becomes part of a color-coded cosmic order.
I mean, it’s right there. Obviously the makers of MAWS thought the same.

Mira the Supergirl fangirl, Rumi, Zoey, Jessica Cruz, and new friendship
Good afternoon everyone! I thought I'd share my new teen and up fic, the latest part of my series about Jessica "Jess" Cruz, as she is envisioned in a cameo in season 3 of My Adventures with Superman (and has her own upcoming series). This fic brings together not only Zoey and Jessica, but depicts Zoey with anxiety, Jess with social anxiety and agoraphobia, Mira as a fangirl of Supergirl, Rumi as the supportive caring girlfriend (of Mira and Zoey), and much more!

Zoey and Rumi watch Mira's favorite RuTuber, a Black woman named Katara Robinson, about a girl that is twelve or thirteen, Jessica Cruz, speaking to Supergirl at SuperFest in Metropolis. While Rumi isn't impressed, Zoey sees an immediate connection, feeling that Jessica is just like her. Seeing this, Rumi hopes they can all meet Jessica some day, and Mira can meet Katara. A week or so later, when Zoey is struggling with lyrics, she comes across a video by Jessica. Surprised by what she has watched, she immediately shows her girlfriends Rumi and Mira. What follows is a plan to surprise Jessica in California, with Zoey having to get past her fears of seeing her previous bullies and open up to those she loves, while a new friendship blossoms between a fan (Jess) and a musician (Zoey) near a school in Los Angeles.
As a warning, this fic has crying, anxiety, past trauma, social anxiety, agoraphobia, angst, past bullying, and imposter syndrome, along with autistic character (Zoey), comfort, polytrix themes, cheek kissing, girls kissing (and in love), fangirls, flirting, female friendship, family dynamics, social media influencers, original characters (Katara Robinson, Jess's grandmother), new friendship, Black characters (Katara Robinson), and Latina characters (Jess). Also, Bobby and Celine have a key role.
Apart from being inspired by various fanfics, the posting by @satis-sun here and fanart by @spaghettiogorl here were inspirations for what Zoey and Mira look like when they meet Jess.
