I haven't drawn these freaks in ages

considering redesigning Antu now that I know how to draw robots better. finally I can convey the fact that it was originally a children's toy

A fun fact about Zelic is he and Mod (the robot) are from the same species, and his prosthetic leg was built from a leg from the same kind of robot that Mod is. And a fun fact about his leg is that he fucked something up when building it so it never displays the exact colors he wants it to.

A fun fact about lui is that lum is a usually aquatic amphibian (as you might guess from the gills in lui neck) and sleeps in a sort of water tank. And another fun fact is that the lines in lui skin are a sensory organ, like the lateral lines in fishes!

This is also why Neon is interested in having lui in her crew and sponsoring lui research. Sure, Lum is a crazy scientist trying to make a black hole generator. But to do that lum has to create a lot of very useful tech they can use as is (more efficient energy consumption by more powerful engines/computers/machines in general, walls/paneling strong enough to resist the pull of prototype black holes, temporary black hole-like space anomalies (which could be both weaponized and further developed into temporary worm holes for faster movement)...). Plus Neon's ships are usually a bunch of different ships stitched together, now they can do that with an engineer who can make the ships safer and more efficient/powerful. (Not that Neon didn't already have a few engineers on crew, she probably did, but more is always welcome. Especially if the more was more recently graduated and has worked in the industry.)
