Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
If you are sensitive to light, or if youâre epileptic, you might have some issues with a few scenes.
If you get motion sick, there are several swirling panning scenes in this film.
â˘SMALL BIT OF SPOILER RANT STARTS BELOWâ˘
Itâs been a bit more than 24 hours now, and Iâm still seriously so broken over a strong feminine character being turned into... well... what Queenie is now. Seriously what the fuck. They did her dirty! That tea had to have had a drug/potion in it... and she knew something was wrong! It feels so out of character for her to have done what she did, so I really hope it was drugged tea and not awful writing to create extra drama.
And Leta, she was a girl who never knew love, and canât forgive herself for the awful thing she had done as a child. She deserved so much better too đ What she did to Grindelwald is ICONIC! I hope she isnât gone gone, and that weâll get to see more of her... I high key relate to her so hard and I need her to still be alive. Girls with terrible childhoods unite!
Between Queenieâs wrong doing and Letaâs horrific past surfacing I nearly left the theater crying. I wish someone would have told me to bring tissues!
Iâm also still low key upset about McGonagall, whom canonically wasnât born yet, being a professor in this film. It makes no sense, even if she used a time turner to be there.
I donât know if this has been said yet, but the film did feel a bit like a filler film. I think the next will be much more heavy, and have a better less of a âFlight of the Bumblebeeâ like storyline. I guess weâll see if Iâm right when the next films come out though!
(These are just some of my thoughts and observations, please donât come at me with torches and pitchforks!)
