I can't help but look back on all of the "positive signs" we saw after the initial breakup, and 8x11, and view them through another lens now that season 9 is over.
No, I'm not dooming and glooming, but it's starting to feel pretty clear that what we had is gone and there is an almost 100% chance it's not coming back. Who knows. Maybe all our bitching to ABC got him back for episode 8x11, but maybe that had been the plan all along and after 8x15 there was no plan of Tommy coming back. There's no way to know.
I know we shouldn't put faith in interviews, and I've ignored all media for 911 this season, but I saw the interview Tim did about bringing back Theo so he didn't have to bring back another love interest for Buck. That sounds pretty "nail in the coffin, dooe closed" to me. đĢ¤âšī¸
