#AllIWantForChristmasIsLou 2025!!!!

We’re back baby! Here to remind ABC and each other that we are a fandom filled with love, kindness, and cheer! Before we begin, a quick note: Last year we raised over $3,000 for various LGBT centered charities around the globe besides Trevor Project and I loved learning about all the work being done in other countries to help their LGBT youth. In that spirit, while the Trevor Project fundraiser will be our main focus going forward, I will still reblog AllIWantForChristmasIsLou posts from international participants who choose to donate to local charities.

Testimonials

The only requirement to participate in this event is that you tell us with the tag All I Want For Christmas Is Lou what Buck, Tommy, BuckTommy, or the fandom means to you in a post. If you choose to donate, you can tell us how much at the end of the post. Either way we look forward to seeing your testimonials!

This year we’ve set up an official fundraiser page with The Trevor Project here (unfortunately it does not embed well on tumblr) our goal is humble compared to last year: $2,170 USD

Fanworks

Part of our call to action is encouraging others in the fandom to donate. Fanworks such as gifsets, edits, or fanart are a great way to do this and while we are not at all requiring people to make fanworks as part the event, (with the exception of the lovely @buffaluff who was forced, forced I tell you! to remake the banner in their iconic style for this years event) we would love to see the love for our boys spread in anyway possible! Feedback

What would this fandom be without a reminder to send feedback to ABC to remind them that people still love Tommy and his relationship with Buck. You can choose to write a bespoke message or simply copy paste your testimonial and end it with the #AllIWantForChristmasIsLou tag (or use the add an image feature to add our banner)

While we had some brief and iconic appearances of Tommy Kinard this year, from the hookup to “and for you,” we’re once again stuck in limbo for whether our favorite helicopter pilot will ever return to our screens. Let’s celebrate what we got while making our desire for more known to ABC with our second annual #AllIWantForChristmasIsLou campaign.

A reminder of what we do for this event:

From Wednesday, Dec 17th to Thursday January 1st, 2026, we will be running a fundraiser for Trevor Project. (Fundraiser is not yet live as of posting)

In addition, we encourage everyone to send in feedback to ABC telling them how much we love and appreciate Tommy Kinard as a character and as representation. We encourage a respectful appreciative tone in line with the holiday spirit. Click “I like this show because” as your category of feedback because while we miss him dearly we are grateful for the time we’ve had with him and hope his story with Buck isn’t over. If you so choose, end your feedback with the banner image (last year’s provided currently, this year’s is under construction)

Fanworks encouraged but not required. Encourage your friends to donate however you see fit!

Our initial fundraising goal based on last year’s phenomenal numbers will be $2,170 USD.

The team has come up with a new way to get involved with this project for those who still want to get involved!

Head on down to the ABC feedback form (found here) and let them know why you love bucktommy, why you want them back, just about anything you can think of, and include the #tommystoydrive hashtag! Bonus points if you want to mention the hashtag; we know ABC and Tim Minear know all about this drive and support it, but showing them some more love and support can never hurt!

Don't forget to send us a DM or an ask for access to the correct address to send your donations to! Remember we won't be posting this publicly for safety reasons (even if the address is public knowledge anyway) so this is the only way to get access to it! At the end of the event we will collate everything and bring you a compilation of all the donations! If you can't afford or are reluctant to take part in general, that's no sweat! Feel free to send a letter and/or postcard of support with the same message from the main post. Feel free to include #tommystoydrive as a hashtag too!
