There’s so much tenderness in your loving.

Raven couldn’t believe she had to leave again to finish her project. It was the last time she was going to be flying over seas, but also the longest time her and Lexa would be apart.

God give me strength when I am leaving.

Lexa’s eyes met Raven’s as she moved back across the room, taking their fingers and interlacing them, pulling Raven across the room. Their arms wrapped around each other as Raven leaned into Lexa’s neck, breathing her in.

Hold me in the darkness

The embrace brought a flood of emotions from both of them, as the music kept them swaying. Lexa gripped Raven’s shirt a little tighter in her fingers, not wanting to let go.

Raven pulled away a little, wiping the tears from Lexa’s face. “I love you, baby. Please don’t cry. Please.”

I can’t believe this pain, it’s driving me insane.

“I can’t help it. I’m going to miss your touch...” Their lips met in a soft kiss.

Without your touch life will be lonely.

“I’ll call every day. It’s going to be over before we know.”

“I know, but...”

“It hurts, I know.”

So raise your hands to heaven and pray

That we’ll be back together someday.

A few more weeks, just a little longer and the project would be done and they could spend their days together.

They slowly made their way to the floor wrapped in each other’s arms, the cold studio floor not bothering either of them. Raven knew the time to take her suitcases and go was coming, but for now, to be in Lexa’s arms was all that mattered.

After bleeding all over Raven, Commander Lexa kom Trikru sends her a package full of clothes to replace the ones she damaged. Raven sends her back a thank you letter, and before she knows it she finds herself exchanging letters with the Commander regularly. Secretly, they both keep answering the letters out of fear of seeming impolite.

Deep down, they both love it.

Lexa had not thought much of the woman at first. Raven was wild, openly passionate, and had a tongue that was quicker than light. Her wit only outmatched by her extraordinary intelligence.

Because we all know it’s fucking true

I can totally see this, especially based on Lindsey and Alycia’s IRL connection. Obviously in canon it’s pretty problematic (since Lexa had Raven tortured and all that) but part of the fun of shipping is picking and choosing what canon you want to keep, and what you want to reject.

I could see a pretty damn fantastic storyline that included Lexaven over Clexa. It’d be a different show, but it’d be a really engaging one, too. Lindsey and Alycia are two of the best actors on this show, especially when it comes to subtle emotion.

And they’re probably the most beautiful women on the show, imo. So that’s automatic points in their favor.
