A mock-up of the opening credits to my Role Reversal Time Travel Fix-It AU fanfiction, based on the title sequence for seasons 2 and 3 of The 100.
Premise/summary: Instead of dying at the last second Lexa is transported into the past of another reality where her alter Lexa Woods grew up on the Ark. Many other characters trade places and step into different roles, though none except for Lexa remember. The events of the show unfold, starting with the Dropship crash-landing in Trikru territory, but this time the players are not all the same and anything can happen.
[Can be read on Ao3] Not all characters are pictured in this set of slides. Some characters that have been reversed are omitted to avoid spoilers. Some original characters have not made an appearance yet and are omitted for the same reason. This was just a fun little side-project for me. I love the title sequence made for the show by WeAreRoyale team. It appears simple, but is rather complex in design language. It's fantastic and a lot of work went into it, from matte painting to the typography. Which was the primary source of curiosity for me. Finding and matching the fonts was a journey and a half, but I am positive I had found as perfect a match as I could short of actually getting the custom fonts they used. Very pleased with the result, if I may say so myself. Check out the story if you found the fanart interesting! It's just getting started.
