MegaETH is closing its Mega Mafia incubator after acknowledging that most successful startups eventually left its ecosystem.

The programme supported around 20 projects and helped them raise more than $80 million. MegaETH also invested heavily in liquidity, audits and product development but received little direct economic value in return.

The Layer-2 team will now focus on building and operating applications internally. Restoring confidence may depend on the success of these products, particularly after the MEGA token declined nearly 79% from its launch price.

Robinhood Chain has rapidly become one of the crypto market’s most closely watched Layer-2 networks less than a week after launch.

Current ecosystem statistics:

Uniswap currently dominates the ecosystem, processing the majority of liquidity and trading activity after integrating v2, v3, v4 and UniswapX from day one.

The biggest catalyst has been the memecoin sector.

CASHCAT surged more than 1,500%, briefly pushing its market capitalization above $140 million. The token gained additional attention after Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev acknowledged memecoins on the network and followed a related X account, fueling speculation within the community.
